Brought my wife here for the first time on our anniversary and won’t be returning.Although we were able to make a reservation same day and was seated immediately, the “special occasion” message we added about celebrating was ignored. Seeing all of the over the top birthdays being celebrated with very brightly lit signage and fireworks on gifted desserts fly past our table led us to think maybe they would do something for our celebration. Nope. Wasn’t even offered a dessert menu. The food was bleak to say the least. We shared the short rib arancini which was ice cold on the middle. Told the waiter who took it, reheated the one remaining ball and brought it back. Leaving us with one edible ball to eat and the other two just sitting cold on the sides of our plates. The lobster bisque had good flavor but was not worth the $16-19 price tag and the cheese(?) crust on top was inedible. We shared the filet mignon which arrived burnt on the outside and dry with mediocre flavor. Mashed potatoes weren’t bad.Got the bill to see the short rib arancini was still full priced and the whole meal (three food items plus a Coke) was over $100 not including the tip or the ridiculous non-cash surcharge (even though we paid with a debit card).Waiter didn’t seem pleased with us asking to remove the arancini but removed some of the cost of it anyways. The rest of the staff was a little intense collecting dishes off our table as if they’d be docked pay if an empty dish sat for 5 seconds. I guess this is better than no one collecting them at all?As for decor, imagine rich aunt’s house with the love of big gaudy flashy fake plants mixed with party sports bar and slight fraternity and sorority vibes. We left before the country night events started; still trying to imagine what that would be like.

I came here for my moms birthday, and I have no regrets. The food was very delightful and tasty. I had their truffle cheese stuffed ravioli, and it was amazing. I'm very excited to see what else they have to offer. The waiter helping us was of very kind by suggesting my mom a wine without much history with wine. She is a people pleaser and admitted she wasn't the biggest fan, but the ability to offer one's experience to assist was great nonetheless.

We recently hosted my mom’s 70th birthday party at Primo in the downstairs Parlor Room and I have to say the entire experience was amazing! Elliott was super easy to work with from the start and responded immediately to my numerous messages and questions. He even walked our guest of honor down to the venue and recorded her entrance. :)On the day of the event, staff were friendly and beyond helpful in everything from set-up to making sure the timing was right for the big “surprise” for Mom’s entrance. They made it special with small things that may have otherwise been overlooked. For example, Bob helped by searching up a special song and playing it from his phone, while Natalia and Krystal made sure food, the open bar, and cake cutting went smoothly. They even had a cool lighted custom sign for my mom and brought out some crazy sparkler candles that made the cake spectacular! I cannot say how incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind they all were. Lake County friends, if you are hosting an event, the Parlor Room at Primo is THE place to do it! Hands down some of the best service we’ve had. Thank you a million times over, Primo staff, for making my mom’s birthday so special. We will definitely be back!

We came here for lunch a few days ago. The restaurant staff was very friendly and super efficient. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. We also enjoyed having a table right next to the fireplace. The prices for lunch were good. I would go back here.

Decent food, we had a good server, it could be a nice atmosphere, but too dark to tell, and the music (not live) was SO LOUD!!! We couldn't hear the waitress nor each other. It was impossible to have an enjoyable conversation. Why are restaurants so loud now a days? They need to add acoustic panels and more sound absorbing materials, turn the music down and perhaps choose a playlist that's got some class. We did not appreciate the foul language in some of the hip hop songs. High tempo and loud music might make people eat & drink faster (more table turnover, more business), but it prevents return customers. Class it up, Kayatt and maybe we'll return.

Our first time to Primo was a special occasion as it was not only our anniversary but also our daughter was in town to visit and celebrate. Ryan V was our server and was fantastic - personable, knowledgeable and attentive! The menu is large, but don’t let that intimidate you! Ryan walked us through the app and entrees and we had everything from steak, to fish and pasta! ALL were delicious!! We will be back for sure, and highly recommend!

It was a conflicting experience. Waited over 20 minutes at our table just for a server, then another 20 minutes for our wine. We were getting ready to walk out when a manager asked if we had been helped yet. He then quickly showed up with our wine. We then ordered an appetizer which showed up within minutes. We had barely even had a few sips of our wine yet. But the food was outstanding. It will be a tough call to go back.

Was very disappointed with the experience. The food was sub par. My mother ordered the salmon and it was over cooked and not well seasoned. For the price not worth it at all.

Primos is a wonderful relaxing restaurant just steps from Great America.Dietary restrictions: Our waiter, Ryan, carefully checked every choice for a nut allergy of one of our party. He was friendly and considerate.

Primos is definitely a hidden gem in Lake County, The service was not as great as I expected.. my parents ordered a tomahawk and filet mignon and they wanted it cooked medium well but the meat was not cooked to perfection very disturbing. However, we had a great server who tried her best to accommodate us. I recommend getting a reservation promptly nothing at 8 or passed it, The cooks were the problem for me. I ordered chicken parm it was okay. I felt like I could go to Olive Garden the food choices are pretty basic, and I love my lobster mac and cheese more than anything. I love their carrot cake. The ambiance is excellent 5/10 and a last-minute place if you just want to get out of the house.
