Our server was outstanding, yet my meal was mediocre. I thought this location had closed, but passed by and decided to stop. I had wonderful experiences in the past, so I had no hesitation in thought. In Red lobster's defense, I'm not much of a seafood person to begin with. I ordered something as simple as fish and chips though. I didn't think messing up such a basic dish was possible. My meal was absolutely bland, as was my alcoholic beverage. Again, how could you mess up such a basic drink like vodka and juice?! I may have outgrown the experience, but again, my service was outstanding! So, if Red lobster is your thing, I would definitely recommend this location.

Ordered take out, man over the phone was pleasant. When I got there there was nobody to greet me, stood around for some minutes before someone asked for the name of my order. Once I got home, I noticed the where missing all of my sides, some of which I payed extra for. I called to let them know and all they did was laugh and bounce me line to line. Very frustrating.

Our waiter did not bring out bread until we asked, which was 15 minutes after we ordered. One three part entree arrived with only two parts, and another entree arrived without its side. When we brought up these issues with the waiter she said "It isn't my fault, I didn't bring out the food." Bzzzt, wrong answer. It may not be your fault, but it is your job to fix it. Asked to see manager, and only the culinary manager was available. She was great and comped the problem entree and removed our missing appetizer from the bill. But where was the restaurant manager??? In summary, the servers messed up, the waiter didn't resolve the issues, and the culinary manager had to step in to fix things because the restaurant manager seemed to be AWOL.

I saw the worst service today mangers making jokes and laughing at costumers when they were asked for a Manger, all the food was cold and took the over 40 minutes for the customers to get there food. The manager never went to the table to talk to the people they just started remaking food when the customers told them they would need to no how long it would take because they had been the for almost a hour for cold food the manager never even went to talk to the people they had to get up and say something multiple times at the end of everything the only male employee tried to Chace after a customers that was out the door already and the manager had to hold him back from going out the door after the customers all this in front of kids and families there was also food all over the floor that no one was bothering to picking up this was the worst experience I have ever had eating out especially for a red lobster don't go to Gurnee red lobster inless you want the worst dinning experience of your life and cold food with dirty floors and to be chased out the doors I can't believe how I saw mangers and employees act tords customers it was appalling

I frequent Reb Lobster regularly as a sea food lover. This location is the WORST location I've ever been to! We were sat next to a bunch of spilled food on the floor which was not even attempted to be cleaned which I found odd. It took the waitress 10 minutes to come to the table and take drink orders. Then when the food had not come and the drinks were gone never even offered to refill our bring biscuits. Food took over 45 minutes and was ice cold. Butter was spilled all over my mom and the table when the food was delivered. The waitress laughed while she did it and did not apologize when she spilled the butter just said she would get "something" while laughing. We tried to ask for a manager. When the waitress went to the manager they stood in the corner laughing and then the manager walked away never coming to speak to us. Ten minutes goes by. No manager or waitress. We get up and walk out and the waitress starts threatening us and manager sends a large male staff member to attack us and push us out the door! The managers only comment was that the waitress was new..... I'm sorry but I have never had this poor of service from ANYWHERE. Also note that they never did clean up the food of the floor and those people were also complaining to the manager about the waitress when we were sat down. If I could give negative stars I would. If you looking for food poisoning, hours of time waisted, and physical abuse from staff this is the place for you! If you want an actual meal choose a different location!

Long wait time and food is basic and expensive. Not worth the wait or the money. And service was not good.

Served at different times. Took forever to get my wife's lobster linguine. Writing this review while watimg for check. Won't come again!!! Oh yes, I was served soup in a bowel that made a coffee cup look large and the to ad insult to injury, it was served without a spoon. After explaining how difficult it would be to eat the soup with a fork, I was finally given a spoon, which was very nice since my soup by that time was cold. No way to burn myself. Thank you red lobster. The Olive Garden is very close to this obminination of a restaurant.

Quite possibly the worst food I have experienced. Shrimp tasted like grease. Wife’s lobster was like chewing rubber.

Service was indifferent, hostesses included. Food is horrible now. The shrimp is literally better next door at White Castle.

I will never step foot up into a Red Lobster establishment ever. First we were greeted by someone in a hoodie with Scarface on it and a cooking net over their head, we had to ask for water and eating utensils several times, out of the five dishes that was ordered only one was eatable and then to top it off a large fly was in one of the glasss of water and the waiter stated it must have fell from the ceiling into the water. When asked to speak to a manager, the person who greeted us came over and stated she was The Culinary manager and that she would have to call the district manager regarding the issues. And they will probably have to order an exterminator. The only thing that they gave us off was one drink, and we were supposed to get a gift card, which turned out to be coupons. And last but not least, the biscuits were the worst I've ever tasted. All I could taste was salt on top of them. The flavor was horrible. Our bill came to $200, and it wasn't even worth $10
