Basic looking bar in Harvard with good strong drinks. It has been filled with slots, like all the bars around here. South Side Tap has a name that describes the location. Kind of, because this is just across the tracks from the main downtown area. There's a lot more further, so it's not like the edge of town. A pretty small bar so you shouldn't expect much when coming in. It has the bar at the other end, along with a few other places to sit. There's a couch, and there's a few tables. Even so, this isn't the main attraction. That would be the okay selection of slots. It's about $6 for a basic cocktail. Whiskey and whatever. Good price, and it was a strong one. There's not a big liquor selection. Good place to drink and play games. It also has a pool table. Those not playing the slots can watch a game on TV or whatever.

Entering the bar with my buddies we noticed all the amenities of a good bar. T.V.'s tuned to ESPN, a state of the art jukebox, slot machines and the standard pool table. The bar and prices were good but despite the numerous aroma therapy candles lit everywhere, even the Yankee Candle Company could not fully cover up the farty sewer smell permeating the place. Even after a number of Wild Turkey shots and half a pack of menthol cigarettes...the odor persisted. I noticed there was alot of that Comet cleaning stuff all over the bathroom. The powdery stuff that comes in a can? I use bleach in a spray bottle myself and I can honestly say it helps with odor, stains and all that good s**** Anyways, great bar!!

LOVED this place. I had been calling various companies trying to get four windows replaced as the glass panes had cracked. Most companies wanted to rebuild the windows at a cost of around $600 per window. Yikes. Called Marvin Windows down the street and they recommended this company. Thank you! I called and was given a ball park quote over the phone, sales guy came out and measured (came exactly on time) I was given a time estimate as to when the glass for my windows would be in, (this took a couple of weeks because of the grids that were inside of the glass panels) glass arrived, they called and we scheduled an appointment for them to come out and work on my windows. Two gentlemen arrived a few minutes early, they were both polite, clean, efficient and professional. So glad I found this company, saved me a ton of money!! Would definitely use again. It is also a family owned independent company that has been in business for a while which was an added bonus.
I spoke with Jeff and Bryan (co-owners and brothers) and Bryan quickly came out and fixed our leaky shower door. It took less than five minutes. Yay - no more major flooding in our basement bathroom. Both Jeff and Bryan were polite and seemed genuinely interested in solving our problem, which ultimately they did. I did not rate them 4 stars because it took positing a bad review on yelp to get them out there. That said, they did very good work and seem to be nice, honest people.

These people were awesome! Bryan was so helpful and just took care of everything so quickly. The quality and the price are unbeatable. We got several quotes and these guys were not only the best price, but the service and quality could not be beat! They were here when they said they would be and for me following through on your word is unheard of anymore. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.
