One of my favorite places. Great wings especially for a seafood restaurant. Quality of food is great however the wait time is ridiculous. Joe willies help me stay loyal lol

Wanting to try something different for my birthday (Oct 14), my husband and I visited the Harvey location around 4:30 pm. The place was closed. We called the number online and Verizon wireless says call can't go thru. We were not out if range or anything bc we were right at the door. Called a couple times and still call couldn't go thru. We called their State st lication and phone just rang and rang, no kne ever picked up. If they are out of business, why does Google indicate they are open with business hours?.

horrible customer service it's honestly sad... I went with my fiancé (a party of 2) we waited to get seated for more than 20 minutes and once we were sat we waited at the table for over 40 minutes and no one ever acknowledged us then the host came and asked can we move tables because we were at a big table and had a larger group that needed to be sat when I say the worst experience ever

I visited Joe Willies yesterday their State street location and it was horrible!! Starting off the booths are old dirty and out dated the table was filthy mind you I was the first customer when they opened! The waiters and waitresses just standing around not doing nothing don't clean the tables until guess come get seated and they are halfed cleaned. The staff looks very unprofessional they were all dirty and scruffy looking I think it was a few in pajamas I had the chicken which was actually great and I order a crab boil which was horrible it was salty and bland the seafood was over cook and tasted like nothing the Supposedly garlic butter sauce wasn't anything butter garlic salt boiled water no butter no flavor the bacon dipped devil eggs was too sweet and was missing my bacon the waitress steady kept bringing the wrong orders and they kept messing up my order the workers hang infront of the establishment directly infront of the door smoking weed

Small story timeFor my birthday dinner, I wanted to celebrate at a Black Owned Restaurant and I chose Joe Willies Seafood Bar on 74th state. ??♀️ I started calling the restaurant on February 2nd and picked it up heavier the final week before my birthday and no answer. Sent multiple messages on FB to the account and their social media manager Tone Tone (co-owner according to Facebook) ALL unanswered! ?. Despite not having any communication I showed up to give support. Arrived and the first thing I was asked did I have a reservation ?, I had to ask the lady who takes reservations because I was left unanswered on multiple platforms. Every way she asked I attempted to make a reservation and was not accommodated to do so. After a brief moment, I notified my party would be accommodated and was seated (20 ish mins later). Now it's time to order. Liquor was in 3 categories: Tequila, Vodka, and Cognac. Vodka is a BIG NO, they were OUT of ALL their tequila options (about 6) and ONLY had Remy for the cognac. Not to mention 70% of the food menu was out of stock and it's already a short menu ?. The waitress was transparent and clear it was a stressful day but my party ensured I smiled thru it. I got the birthday streamers and shot at the very end. My experience was a 3/10, the 3 is solely for the service of our waitress. She tried and did the best she could I could tell AND I WENT ON NY BIRTHDAY . I love supporting our own but sheesh this could have been such a better experience.

Sooooooo let my first say the food is good, and their drinks were bomb and the vibes were on point but, big BUT, the service was horrible!!! We had reservations at 7pm and it was a party of 8 but we didn’t get our order taken until a hour later then we didn’t get our food until legit 10pm after they were closed! They literally brought out the food, two people at a time so the first person got their food at 10pm and then the last person didn’t get her food until 11pm. If you are a large party do not go here!!!!! If your a small party you should be fine but they are not equipped the birthday parties! On top of it all a 18% gratuity is automatically added the bill was over 500 and no one came out to fix the issues even tho we waited 3 hours. I’m all about supporting black business but this is the problem! Black people need to learn to train their staff correctly and learn this thing called HOSPITALITY!

I saw this place on Facebook and wanted to try it out. I made reservations for Super Bowl Sunday. When I got there, it was a line full of people and my table was not ready. I had to wait 30 minutes. But to be honest, I wasn't mad because the hostess was so polite. when we finally sit down, we ordered shots, alligator bites, crawfish bites chicken shrimp tacos. now let's get into how the food was so good. The shrimp tacos were the best tacos I ever had in my life. I had to talk to the owner and let her know that her tacos were season to perfection. The chicken wings were also extremely good. They had a sauce that they put on the chicken wings that made it perfect and I don't even eat sauce on my food, but that sauce was perfect.I did not expect the drinks to be good because they were so cheap but they serve Don Julio shots for a dollar and their frozen drinks for five dollars and they were not watered down. I go out at least five times a week and have never wrote a review, but I had to for this spot because it was just everything
My favorite catfish meal. By for the most tasty and pretty much a reasonable amount. Id eat there again it will take a demand to the next level. Refer a friend most likely a resolve.

LOVE the shrimp and grits. The chicken wings were good as well. They sure know how to make some drinks up there too. Them jawns be STRONG ?? would definitely recommend. I like the vibe and set up there.

Wouldn’t even give them a 1 star but that’s the lowest available. We arrived at 7pm it took an hour to get our chips and salsa, several tables who came in after us got their entire meal and left before we had our appetizer. we asked for a manager 3 times, our waitress said they were behind due to being busy, our food finally came at 9pm our order was incomplete, cold and those that got food it was soggy as if reheated . The manager came out and said the printers were down. Instead of coming out and telling us what the issue was after a hour or before they all had excuses. They were generous enough to just charge us for just our drinks. More than likely the ticket was lost and instead of being apologetic the staff made excuses. We come every year to Pensacola and usually rave about all the the food but sorry worst experience on the island! Save your time and skip thus place!
