Ok!! Where do I start? I will start here first when I first walked up I was really excited because I found that it was black owned, and I they take EBT for certain things. That’s always a plus, right? But as I ordered my food, everything was going smooth and sailing. I was really excited.. Until my food was in the making. It was a guy that took my order. He didn’t know the menu and that was a little bit frustrating but I dealt with it Because maybe he was new!! But once my order was in a manager, came out to help him as well, and this is when it all went down, she was very loud and obnoxious to him, talking to him, as if he was a kid or a peasant as a Customer, I should not know that you are telling your cook what to do and what not to do in a aggressive tone. I should not have to hear that that is something personal and private that you should be doing with your employee the whole building should not know what you’re talking about.. trying your employees right and you don’t have to worry about what your employees is doing right or wrong!! OK its very small inside all those chairs and tables should not have been in there. It was very tight and very uncomfortable to sit one table was by the garbage can.. OK as my food came out, I asked for Panini and it was regular sandwich bread I didn’t ask them. For that my words This is not a Panini. This is regular sandwich.. they did took it back and just grilled it came back as a grilled sandwich. I know how Panini look and a Panini has lines and grilled and thin, as a customer, I shouldn’t tell you how a Panini should look it was a grilled sandwich. After I ate the sandwich, my teeth was hurting for a few hours. That’s how hard the sandwich was. I was very disappointed. I ordered a cake the cake was dry like it’s been sitting right there for days or weeks. I ask to use the bathroom after dining in side note waited for my food for 45 minutes I only ordered a soup, sandwich , water and a cake. As the guy that took my order, let me use the bathroom. The manager with the blonde hair was on the outside of the bathroom, letting me know that the bathroom was out of order and the employee didn’t know to tell me that. The bathroom was perfectly fine. I walked right out after that because as a customer don’t have me waiting for 45 minutes for my food and then eating another 30 minutes and tell me I can’t use the bathroom. If a customer cannot use the bathroom you should not make your restaurant a sit down place and that’s that. I’llNever be back.I’m not into reviews, but this one had to be done!! And I like to see my Black people thrive, but from the bad attitude from the manger to the grill sandwich that I could’ve made at home, and the cold soup was very disappointed.

Have visited this restaurant a number of times in the past few years and sadly as a long time resident I have to warn others not to eat here. Inside the store the floor was filled with crumbs and I saw a few dead roaches. The employee who works at the front desk is neglectful and should have never been employed because she wont answer the phone for phone orders which is terrible business practice. Went to place orders in person instead but that didn't go any better. The owner, Latrice, is very flippant and disrespectful... she does not value her customers at all. As a whole she's a terrible manager. As for the taste in the food, it's bland at best and quite expensive for the value and portions. The soup tastes similar to canned soup. Panera Bread is much better option in both taste and prices ; I would recommend going there instead of here . This is not the place if you are looking for a good hot or cold meal.Parking: limited spaces

I saw this establishment on Instagram and decided to try it. The gentlemen greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very patient and knowledgeable about the menu. I went for egg rolls but they were out. I ordered a jerk chicken burrito bowl. Let me tell you, this bowl was so good! It was very well prepared and full to the brim! I can not say enough good things about it. I just wish they offered steak and brown rice instead of white. This bowl is better than Chipotle and it was piping HOT!! Thank you so much!Vegetarian options: They do have decent amount of vegetarian options. And also menu items that could probably be customized to make them vegetarian!

I placed my order online at 3:12pm and it showed my order would be done at 3:32pm. I get there and he said he doesn’t have my order. And wanted to go back and forth with me until I showed him the email confirmation. Then proceeded to say it’ll be 15min. So i sat and waited patiently for 20-25min. So when my order was ready i said, “for my inconvenience you’re not going to offer me something to drink?” He says, “it really isn’t an inconvenience cause it wasn’t my fault. It was a technical error and not a human error.” I said, “regardless what kind of error it was, it’s still an inconvenience for me. Because i placed the order on you guys website and for whatever it wasn’t received on your end. But, my food was supposed to be ready at 3:32 and i still had to wait another 20-25min.”I didn’t have a good customer service experience and for that reason i will not be back. I spent $52 here for 2 jerk chicken, shrimp and veggie wraps and a jerk salmon wrap. And for you not to offer me a drink or anything for my inconvenience is crazy. For that reason I will not be back.

Delicious!!!! Came after work and bought the jerk chicken salad! Paired it with blue cheese dressing and it is literally one of the best salads I’ve ever had! I live in the local area and will make this is a regular dining spot for me. Owner was exceptionally kind and thoughtful! If you are considering trying this establishment, stop thinking and go!!!

30 minute wait for one sandwich. $18 dollars for a sandwich, chips and a drink....and the sandwich was just ok. I really really want to support black owned businesses, but I just won't be back. Unpleasant experience.
