1st time here last night. It wasn't that busy, and I'm not sure why. The food was fantastic. Love the delicious smoky flavors. Poppers were SOOO good. Ribs were fall off the bone. I had the El Jefe burger, no bun with coleslaw. It was delicious. Sauces were subtle but delicious as well. Drinks had a good pour, and service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Ordering to go tomorrow for family dinner!

Great combination of tasty Mexican fare with world class Texas BBQ. Brisket is melt in the mouth good. Old school whole hog BBQ guarantees full flavor and moist treat. Elote appetizer doesn't disappoint. Crispy empanadas with generous filling. Spot on Salsa Verde. Will definitely go back.

We were there for lunch today. We were the only ones in the restaurant a little after noon - that should have told us something! It took a long time to get our food. Once we got the food, the waitress did not come back and check on us to see if we needed anything or to provide refills of our drinks. One more group eventually came in and this same waitress seated them right across from us and she didn't even stop to check on us then. She then disappeared. When we were done eating and ready to go, we had to go looking for the waitress and couldn't find her. Nobody was behind the bar either. My dad stood at the bar for a little bit but nobody came out. After my dad came back to the table to wait (standing up to watch for someone), someone finally came out to the bar area and my dad had to go ask that person for our waitress. When she brought our check back to the table, she grabbed my mom's tray and asked her if she didn't like the food because my mom hadn't eaten much. When my mom said she didn't care for it, the waitress didn't inquire as to what was wrong with it, apologize, or say anything, she just proceeded to take the dishes away. The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. In addition, the 80's music they were playing was way too loud, especially with only one table of customers there. It was as loud as they would need to have it if the bar area would have been really busy on a Friday or weekend night. It was also really expensive for lunch. We will not be returning to the restaurant unfortunately.

Great food! However, the place is undermanned, hence poor service. We've met the owners, good people, just have no luck with employees. We've been there 4 times because the food is great. We did end up leaving the fourth time in which we had friends with us. We were told they were out of brisket and pork.

This place is amazing! Great food. Smoked chicken is my favorite. All of the food is freshly prepared. The strawberry margaritas are too good!! If you haven't been here you are missing out. The atmosphere and artwork are impressive. Great quality all around. The owners take pride in their business. Veteran owned!
Our server was very nice but unfortunately the food was not. Rib tips, $18 00, were dry, served with 2 slices of old bread, 2 pickle chips, and heavily salted fries that were almost unrecognizable. Never seen fries black in color and the texture of charcoal. Pulled pork sandwich, $18.50, had some tough chunks of meat and served with the same strips of coal, I mean fries! Very disappointed as we were looking for a good place for barbecue!☹️

Venessa was sweet and personable.We are old school and thrown off by the digital menuFood was good, rib tips Delish. We didn’t want the bread that came with the rib tips and asked if we could substitute for more fries or something else. Brought out a very tiny slaw the size of a 2oz cup,to substitute 4 pieces of bread..Now that we know the fries have lots of salt when we go back we order with no salt. Ouch they were almost too salty to eat. The food was not hot. It wasn’t cold but not up the the correct temperature. We did let venessa know.I had the chicken nachos, chips were amazing and tasty, was surprised no tomatoes or anything green.We will try it again
