What a first for me... Little bummed to hear some story at the dine in register promoting tipping before even getting food, service and those things we judge tipping by AFTERWARDS.

Ordered 2 Asian salads. After our first bite we agreed that the salads had no type of flavoring, they looked old and barely had chicken in them. I would say these are the most disgusting salads I’ve ever had in my life! Called them and asked if we could have something else instead. We had only taken a bite out of both salads . Management said only thing they could do was give us extra dressing at no cost . What a joke! The problem here is the salad sucks not asking for extra dressing. I’m never ordering from this place again!

Significant increase in prices over the past few years, seems to outpace the typical cost increases of other restaurants. $37 for 2 cheeseburgers, a hot dog and 1 order of cheese fries.

Generally really good food. Old diner vibes. The cheese they use is really an acquired taste. My parents love it but it makes my friends sick. Great salads, get to pick tons of toppings and they're massive. Fast service generally.

Raw skirt steak sandwich, tough and costly at 25.60. ( including fries and a drink). Nortons in H.P. is significantly better!!!

I ordered a skirt steak sandwich, fries and a drink. The fries were excellent however my steak was basically raw, tough and a mortgage payment coming in at $25.60. Try Nortons in Highland Park for a super skirt steak sandwich.

Had to come here to write a review because Michaels disabled reviews on Facebook. --Came in for soup today for a sick child. If you're going to sell soup, you really need to be filling up the container. Not 2/3 full. Not 3/4. Full. That's how every place sells soup. This quantity barely filled the bottom half of a small bowl. Come on. How is it possible to not even sell soup correctly? Longtime HP resident here.

Love their burger and the laid back local vibes. I really miss the salad bar and the sweet potatoes fries they used to

We ordered their new chicken wings. The wings were good but the sauces were too vinegary. We had the sweet and spicy and the buffalo. We picked up we did not dine

Michael's is a great restaurant with amazing options for burgers, chicken, salads, and much more. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we went at lunch time and even though they were busy our food came out hot and fresh. Excellent kids menu as well.Dietary restrictions: They are gluten friendly not gluten free.Parking: Plenty of parking lot adjacent to restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu, mini game room, and many screens including a large projector screen in back for anyone to watch but definitely kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: All on one floor no stairs and aisles and space between tables gives ample room for wheelchairs

I've lived in HP since 1989 and have been to Michael's dozens of times, albeit more often when my kids were in school in the 90s & 00s. They were always a bit pricey for me, but always top notch quality. Last week my husband & I ended up there for dinner about 7pm. The place looked very different - the place where we used to order was roped off and ordering was done in the main dining room. Hubby got a bison burger, which he enjoyed, and I got Debbie's Favorite Salad, which I had ordered several times before. It turned out we knew one of the employees and we talked to her (she was clocked out already) for about 15 minutes. I tried eating my salad, but the pears were as hard as any apple I've ever had. The pears are the featured item in this expensive salad. I was extremely disappointed to be served pears that were 1 week underripe. If a restaurant finds an ingredient unavailable, I think they should minimally inform the customer or make a reasonable substitution. Our friend informed us that the restaurant had been sold to venture capitalists several years ago, which made my experience there at least make sense. Michael's, I'll miss you - at least what you were. Sad...

This place was just okay. Seemed pretty busy, but the food was very basic and ordinary. Nothing bad about it, really but I wouldn't call it good and probably won't go back there.

DISSAPOINTEDAsian salad w/ chicken was disappointing. The chicken was not fresh and the dressing minimal. When you ask the public to pay $16+ for a salad, at the very least ‘make-it-right’. The whole experience was not worth it. Buyer beware.
