Had dinner at Ordo and really enjoyed it! The service was outstanding. Ellie our server was great! The food was really tasty. Next time I return I’ll try the fish. Overall an enjoyable evening. A must try.

We expected something a little different since looking at the menu online, I couldn't really pinpoint the cuisine. Greek? Mediterranean? Asian? Polish? Middle Eastern? Well, doing a little Googling at the restaurant,it appears to be Uzbekistan. The beet salad was amazing, and I got the Lamb Kababs, called Shashlik. Really, really good. The entrees appeared to all be served on a wooden board, with your choice of side, sauce, and protein served on a small pita. I got a Old Fashioned cocktail, which was also really good. Our server was super sweet and attentive. Will be going back to try some of the other items on creative menu featuring a lot of options.

Open on a Monday night, Ordo's is a great addition to our dining options in the area. The location in the small strip of shops on the north side of Deerfield Road next to the BP station is deceptive; the interiour decor is lovely and quite upscale. The menu is extensive and offers many varied choices among central Asian and eastern European cuisines. Someone in the kitchen is a fabulous baker - the bread and pastries were sublime. It might not yet be running like a well-oiled clock, but service was attentive, and food was delivered both timely and piping hot. All four of us loved our meals, and the generous portions left us all with some to take home.

good restaurant , everything is at the highest level. the atmosphere is great, the music is calm, relaxing after a busy day. excellent service, the waiters pay maximum attention to each visitor, the food is very tasty, the meat is juicy, melts in the mouth, delicious manti and salt shaker ? everything is homemade. Unfortunately, they didn't take a picture, because they tried it right away. portions are large. everything is very tasty, well served, fragrant, I recommend visiting a cozy restaurant. suitable both for a romantic dinner and for a meeting with friends or relatives.

Tried this restaurant in Highland Park and loved it. The food , ambience and service was a 10/10. The cuisine is central Asian and it's Zabiha halal. Everything we ordered tasted delicious. The portions sizes are good and can be shared. The food is fresh and well cooked.We had the Samsa, Tuna Tartare Lamb Shorpo, Grilled Salmon, Shashlik, Plov, Eggplant & Zucchini Salad, Honey Cakes, and Fruit Plate. The tuna tartare was so good, we had to order seconds.Don't skip on desserts, it's the BEST.

Surprisingly very good! This place from an outside POV didn’t seem like much, but once you walk in, the ambience was a lot better! It’s not the fanciest restaurant , but it’s very very decent for what it offers. We were seated and shortly greeted by our waiter for our drinks and appetizers. Shortly after, we ordered our dinner with some recommendations from the waiter. The food was absolutely delicious! For the overall price, the ambience and food, it was well worth it! Will definitely return if I am in Deerfield again!

Nothing special....Food is O'k, shish kabob overcooked , Plov is not how it supposed to be in Uzbek kitchen. But for me was very unpleasant moment when we came at 5:00 for dinner we were told that we need to leave at 7:00 because they have a party, we left at 7:15 and restaurant was half empty. Overpriced.

Portions are generous, prices are moderate. Service was attentive, and food was served up both timely and piping hot. The location is deceptive, in a small strip mall on the north side of Deerfield Road, next to a BP station and Starbuck's drive-thru, because the ambience of the restaurant is quite upscale. Linen napkins, fresh flowers, subdued lighting and a quiet atmosphere make this appropriate for a 'date night'.

Had dinner for the first time at Ordo. Glad we had a reservation since the restaurant was packed at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Transformed what was well known as Players for many years into an elegant but casual establishment. Cloth napkins, tablecloths and fresh flowers on each table. Three ordered appys... beet salad that I had was delicious, borscht served warm that my friend said was very good and a meat turnover (forgot the name) that my hubby said was delicious. Dinner I had Manty-steamed beef dumplings with a red zingy sauce, a beef veggie and rice stir fry dish, a salmon and a rice with beef and veggies. Portions were all generous. All of us enjoyed our dinners. My Manty was so good! We shared a piece of honey cake... a multi layered slice of a delicate cake. We also shared a peach, or was it apricot, juice that was tasty. We will definitely be back!
