I'm not typically the type to write a review but the quality of employees at this establishment is extremely sub-par. So much to the point where it was just flat out ridiculous service. If there's one thing in specific I'd say to you about this review is for the love of god don't go here, in specific the employee Luke Bane. Is extremely rude, offensive, and flat out discriminatory towards his customers. His demeanor and attitude towards work and the quality of customer care and support is extremely poor. Not because he doesn't care about his job but because he doesn't mind being offensive, discriminatory, or rude towards his clients and his own customers. If there's one take away from this review is I will never bring my business to a potbelly's again and especially the potbelly's located on 1845 2nd St. Highland Park IL, 60035 due to it's extremely poor choice of employees and their respect for the people who end up support their paycheck. I would highly recommend management look into Luke's attitude and behavior and act accordingly, and I would also highly recommend that potential customers steer clearly of this crumbling business in Highland Park.

The Highland Park potbelly’s was clean with some friendly staff. I was having a bad day but one of the staff there was incredibly kind and so welcoming that she changed my day around. A huge shout out and a huge THANK YOU to Eleftheria for the kind service you provided. You are that kind of person who makes a difference in this world!

Got a regular tuna today. Tasted OK but so little tuna and other ingredients it's crazy. The bread is good but hard for me to justify 10 bucks for that skimpy ingredients. To their credit my wife got the clubby it was over twice the size of mine. And we did use her bogo on the app. Hers was worth the money.

I order multiple times a year for large groups. Amber, the manager, is so easy to work with and she always makes sure my order is done correctly and on time. I highly recommend them for catering or even a daily lunch break for 1.

Ordered and paid online for a sandwich, when I arrived they had just lost power and did not have my order, i showed the employee my phone with the order info, she said nothing they could do. Took my name and phone number and would call me next day. No call next day. I went back in a couple days and talked to same employee who said the order had gone somehow to deerfield, where i never order from. I said must have been a glitch with the power out. She would have the district mgr call me as he is only one to do refunds. I never heard back. I will not be going back to any potbelly, as i refuse to give a business any of my money who give such poor customer service. I hope it is worth the lousy 9 bucks and change to lose a good customer. I will also make sure to tell everyone i know to stay away.

So what is the process a Potbelly is because every time I come I wait in the line and then I go to check out nobody checks me out and somebody else has jumped the line to order a shake or some other thing and now I have to wait for them to make a shake and my food gets cold what is is that supposed to happen or not I called potbellies corporate and it's only automated machines

Here’s what you need to know: updating my review after 6 years. This location has been through a lot during the pandemic with a full time closing, then part time lunch only hours, to reduced staffing and no staffing. Wow! A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO EDGAR FOR HIS INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. It’s because of team leaders like him, that potbelly and this location has come out strong and are delivering perfectly made sandwiches and amazing experiences for the brand. The managers are super customer focused and friendly and make you feel happy being there.I’ve been there half a dozen times in the last 4 months and haven’t had any bad experiences with quality or wait times. Hence the upgraded rating.Regular Sandwiches are about $9 each so about $10-13/person with a drink. My kids love the shakes so that adds another 6 dollars to the sandwich cost.

All the employees are so welcoming and kind. Especially Stella. They got that Gucci Louie Vuitton sandwiches. Top tier. This is the Usain bolt of sandwiches, the fastest and best.
