Today my husband and i dine in Priscilla in Hillside IL on Roosevelt Rd,Many years ago when we visited the restaurant it was a great place to go. Sadly to announce, the price is horrible. We ordered two dinners and they charged us $70.00. Also, be aware there are hidden fees they don't warn you about, called Cilla Dine In, $8.99 to be in a low-class restaurant is sad. All and all, this was the worst experience we had ever encountered. Never again will we visit this place

food was good. I live out of town and I br my family to enjoy the restaurant. After we sat down my youngest child went to the bathroom and I heard her scream. She said I seen a rat. I told her to be quiet and I continued to eat my perfectly fried chicken. My eyes were fixed to the area my daughter came from. Within minutes two mice ran across the back of the restaurant. I then asked for the manage. She was apologetic. As I walked to my car I noticed several terminix rat traps lining the exterior of the building. The back door was open and the trash dumpster tops were open. Sorry Priscillas you made me look bad to my family. Very embarrassing. I will not be back.

I don't get the high reviews about this place. It's been around for years and popular, after Sunday church, but I can not eat here. I tried on three separate occasions, and it's bad. The fish was beautifully cooked and seasoned, but I received someone's order by mistake of overly salty fish and corn syrup spaghetti. I was so hungry and tried to eat here on several occasions, but every time, I'm disappointed. I give up.

This might be thee BESt Soul food I've ever had at a restaurant, most definitely the best in Chicago. The staff is so pleasant, the service is wonderful, and the food is just everything!!! We come here every year thay we're in Chicago and literally EVERYTIME the food is in point. Mac n cheese yams the greens the smothered pork chops and catfish all amazing. And thats only what I had. Came with about 7 others who ordered everything from the chicken to the braised ribs and everyone raved about the deliciousness lol. So good. We will be back next year ?

I have not been in here in 15 years, the food has gotten better because for a while they had fallen off. I went there to pick up food for my mom and grandma , the had left one of the extra sides my mom ordered out the bag.I went all the way back to moms ten minutes away, mom says, “ where the greens.” I turn around go back tell my mom to call to let them know , no answer!I get in the restaurant tell them they left off one of our sides. She tells me, “ I didn’t leave nothing out”. I just got here. I say of course I am speaking of the company, whoever is here.She says where is the food, I say at home. “Well usually we don’t give out the food without seeing what you have. “ Huh!We ordered online, so the only recipe was online. So I tell her we got both orders, we’re only missing the greens and she really put me through the wringer over the small side of greens. Which eventually she printed the recipe, which took 2 minutes and finally gave me my order with no apologies.My mom and my grandmother enjoy this place because they don’t cook as much so please get it together for our elders sack.

I got there because Wednesday approximate 11:30 for their“Liver with gravy and onions. They didn’t have any available until later today. So we ordered the fried catfish it was cold, the fried chicken was also greasy. Since we traveled a distance we attempted to eat part of the food. I have eaten here for many years and their food is delicious BUT I don’t know what happened today . I also went to the restroom and it stunk like sewage.
I been a long-standing customers of Priscilla’s soul food and the food used to be good and tasteful. But now, the quality of the food diminished and decreased. This restaurant hire illegals to cook the food, and I thought this place was supposed to be cooked by people who look like me. If I were you, I would avoid this spot entirely until she hires better employees.

It's ridiculous for carryout to be so slow to have to wait an hour when I can actually go on the restaurant side order food. Get it within the next 5 10 minutes and just wrap my stuff up to go the time frame the parking lot. So inconvenient and especially when you dealing with tacky unprofessional individuals. Y'all been there too long to be so tacky and your food is just mediocre.

One of my favorite locations. It's the mother location and I feel the best one. Always friendly, kind, & considerate. Went to get my 3 of my aunt's & my mom food near their closing time over the weekend. Didn't feel rushed, even though they ran out of some of the dark meat. They still accommodated me with all wings for my aunt's order & food was fresh as always & they all loved it. Fresh soul food Everytime without a long wait time.
