Pretty good place. Love the daily specials. It's what keeps us coming back. It's a good local sports bar with good friendly service and good food.

My wife, Dr. Maryam, and First Place Sports Bar & Grill conspired to host my surprise 50th birthday party. Fantabulous! Y'all got me good!Vegetarian options: SaladsParking: Huge lot, plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. Kids must sit in designated table eating areas, and cannot sit at the bar. #CommonSenseWheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible, and always a friendly patron willing to open doors or help out when necessary.
Im the neighbor hood and have been going there since they opened. It's a neighborhood bar in an out of the way strip mall. The food is good not great but they have good specials. The service is reasonable considering the turnover they experience as a small family owned business. The facilities are reasonable but not franchise quality. I don't understand the 1 star ratings; it seems lIke just trolling the place. It's not a dive. It used the to be a lot livelier but the village cracked down on some of their activities. Now it's just a reasonable neighborhood sports bar with a lot of regulars so the "ambience" won't compete with bars in the highfalutin shopping centers a few miles away. Nobody is going to go out of their way to party all night there, but if you're in the neighborhood looking for decent food and reasonably priced drinks it's tough to beat 1st Place.

Food was pretty mediocre. Bartenders were super nice and good little place to just play a game of pool have a drink and a snack.

Great place, Great atmosphere, Great time!!! I stop by at least once or twice a month, on Sundays, to see the Bartender Steve. A place can have everything, but if a place doesn’t have good people with great personalities, it’s just another place. Steve knows how to make a great Sunday night!!

Hotel Hampton Inn & Suites is a place that we stayed when we were in Chicago for a smart conference. The hotel had plenty of rooms fairly modern they had USB Jacks in all of the electrical outlets so no need to worry about phone adapter plugins just need the cord. My room had a microwave small fridge large TV a desk couch with a small TV tray or something to write on that was portable another small desk with a lamp. It was pretty nice the room had a very large bed. The price range I not sure but I think it was a little over $100 a night there was a Chili's restaurant nearby in IHOP plenty of gas stations it was just off of Interstate 90. There is a continental breakfast from 6:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. in the morning everyday warm sausage scrambled eggs bread muffins you can make your own waffle through Dry cereal with milk oatmeal and juices along with some fruit. This was a very beneficial for us that we could just grab something to eat before we went to the Dave and Ramsey smart conference. On Friday night it was only a few hours long but on Saturday which is when we had the breakfast it was a full day long event 9:00 until 6:00 in the afternoon. Friday night they did a live taping of smart money happy hour with George camel and Rachel Cruz. It was a very entertaining time they made this black tea mocktail that had pepper lemon juice and some other ingredients. If you don't know what smart money happy hour is or I've never seen it you really should look it up on YouTube.
