Never they have enough products. Very laid back service. Sometimes have to wait for 45 min or more. No attentiveness to the customer need. Even the store is not kept clean.

Ordered for a party of 25+ for pick-up at 5 PM. Reached there at 5:15 to be told that they had not prepared most of the order. Since it was too late to order anywhere else, we stood there for 1.5 hours while they finished everything. We were late to the religious function that was our destination.To add insult to injury, the proprietor had the audacity to say that "since it was a weekday, he assumed all of us would just meet and eat late".To "make up" for their utterly unprofessional conduct, he "magnanimously" offered us a 10 dollar discount on a 350+ dollar order.While they have lost my business, most of my relatives here in the US seem to think that Gujarati cuisine is the only cuisine there is, and so it's a fair bet that they will keep on stuffing their hard-earned money into this catering and restaurant place, even though this is the second time we've had such an experience with them.The actual food was pretty good, but IMHO it's just not worth going through such an awful experience. Twice.

Food is average. Nothing special about this place, hence average ratings. Dosa is not good, gobhi/paneer parantha dry and below average, poori sabzi is good. Customer service could have been better.

I visit Sukhadia's every time I'm in Schaumburg, and have been doing so for the last ~9 years. Despite a few shortcomings, I'm inclined to give the restaurant 5 stars.Food: The food has consistently had great taste and been fresh. The same can't be said of most Indian restaurants. There is not one thing on the menu that I haven't tried, and there is not one thing that I've tried that I've disliked. There are, of course, some items I like more than others but that's a matter of personal taste. Still, here are my favorites: gobhi/paneer paratha, kachori/papri chat, sabji poori, pani poori, uthhapam, idli sambhar, pav bhaji.Service: It can be slow and it's not difficult to fathom why. Every party usually orders multiple small items. Not everything is prepared in advance - some things are actually cooked fresh. Add that together and you get a slightly longer wait time than other places.For those who don't like to wait, maybe just go someplace else, but if you have some time, go here, ask for a cup of tea while you wait and people-watch (or watch them prepare your food). I find it almost therapeutic.Cleanliness: The staff could do a better job of cleaning tables, and with the sweets section. That said, I don't mind wiping my own table down, considering the price I pay for the food and its high quality.Ambience: The interior of this place has seen better days. Seems like the owner has really let the place slide and it looks like a run-down diner now, although it wasn't always like this. It could use a good cleaning, some minor fixes, but it would be way better if it was just remodeled with a fresh design. The space is big and has potential but it's not being fully utilized.

Customer services : I have never seen this worst service in any of the restaurants in Schaumburg before.. If we want to have food in this restaurant we have to learn Hindi first and then we have to come here.. He didn’t addressed the customer in the queue.. he was doing the other packing very slowly as if there is no one in the waiting line.. Didnt heard the orders properly when there is a mistake in the list of order he didn’t accept his mistake and dropped the blame on the customer.Cleanliness: it’s a self service place where customer themselves have to drop their waste is to be dropped in the trash but even then they can’t even clean the tables. All tables have spills no tables where sanitised..Food : Food was not that good. We ordered 2 dosa which was ok the vada was horrible.

I guess the reviews about the service are correct. I just walked in there roughly 15 minutes ago at 3:45pm and waited a solid 5 minutes before deciding to walk out. The place is NOT dirty and tables looked clean. But employees were in the back and no one ever came out to take my order. Also no menus to be found aside from one sheet of paper taped to the cashier counter which was very confusing. The diff sabjis for the thali were not listed or shown anywhere. I left and went to Eggoholic for some chaat instead… thanks anyways Sukhadia.

I ordered special thali today for lunch and I must say it was too good. Very yummy! I couldn’t resist to come here and write a review.
Went in the restaurant and asked for menu. The guy at the counter said "paratha hai" " chaat hai", then went about talking to other customers. After sometime switched on tv, but the tv did not show any menu, it was blank. The person had absolutely no interest in providing us service. No wonder their rating is sad. We left the place without having any food NEVER coming back here.

Snacks and sweets may be good..but do not go there for dine in...not clean at all...kitchen area is filthy...and they do not bother to clean the tables...food is so-so

One of our favorite vegetarian restaurants in Schaumburg. Unpretentious and straightforward comfort food. Love all the fresh sweets and snack. Excellent service and very family-friendly. The price and portions are reasonable. Highly recommend the thali. The chaat items are decent. Must visit.
