I have never seen any Indian restaurant take shortcuts to cooking food. I order chicken vindaloo and this tasted like tomato soup. I believe they used tomato paste instead of fresh tomatoes. The food for that price was terrible and was not authentic at all. I order food from a lot of Indian restaurants and never felt more cheated. This restaurant did not use fresh ingredients and ruined my experience.No wonder no good ratings from fellow Indians. Please stop selling this as authentic Indian food.Will never order from here again.

The owners were great and the food was authentic and even better. I felt like I knew the guys just meeting them once. Managers and owners that take a liking to speak to their customers are passionate about what they are doing. Drove out from Woodstock for the meal and wasn't dissapointed. I see some complaining about ambience and pricing. Don't get that...prices were around 10 dollars a meal. When did that get pricy for people in Algonquin for home cooked food? Don't think they are interior designers either. Good food for sure.

Whenever I feel like having a superb supper, this place comes straight to my mind. best and diverse food and a large list of dishes.helpful crew, and agreeable atmosphere. Also important, the expence is affordable. I praise this restaurant with no hesitation.

The menu is huge and it makes it hard to decide but everything was so delicious you can't make wrong choice. Decent prices big portions and clean dining room make this my go to for Indian food. Walking distance from home is a bonus.

Ordered weekday takeout with 3 entrees and butter nans. Came out super expensive and epic disaster. Completely tasteless and almost inedible. Chef must be disheartened or demoralized with cooking or perhaps something else. The message comes thru loud and clear in the quality. (I hear ya my friend .... You don't want to do this). I thought the previous owner / chef was bad.This Schaumburg/ Hoffman area is ripe for a nice authentic Indian restaurant. Doesn't have to be cheap ... Has to taste good and has to have heart in the game! Come on Thumka, the stage is set. Need better performance.

So I am a child and personally when I went there the staff took so long to get my family's order. When my mom order the Gujarati plate she said it tasted somewhat sour and old. When we ordered the paneer tikka we asked for onions. We asked all staff but no one was replying or bringing the onions. After, the same thing happened to the family next to us. When the man was about to pay the manager said to leave and he didn't want to money so he threw all of it in the garbage. He said he doesn't do this for a living he does it for fun
