“I returned for dinner the following week after my initial brunch visit and the menu was exciting for me everything was delicious. The lamb skewers and octopus was perfectly cooked and flavored. My main dish the branzino was light perfectly cooked and the olives and fennel complimented the fish wonderfully... a 5 star for me The black truffle puff is a highlight a must perfectly warmed light and airy bread with an excellent taste and perfect crisp. 5 star. The chili garlic oysters, a bit small but tasty and cooked perfectly. 4 stars The almond pastry croissant 5 stars... delicious and the creme inside gave it the right hint of sweetness. The chocolate meringue flambeau was yummy. The piece of caramel inside I wish it had melted but the banana, caramel, chocolate cake bon a petite... 4.5 stars For brunch I had the steak and eggs. It was in a tomato base which I was unaware that it would be served that way, and I'm not a tomato fan, but nonetheless it was decent. 3.75 My bestie ordered warm seafood salad and stated that if was delicious 5 stars . Red blend wine was great Light red for the fish was the perfect bitter without being sour 4.8 stars The mimosas lemon/citrus were also perfect. 5 stars“

“I LOVE going to Ositos. It’s the perfect spot for brunch, dinner, or just for a drink to catch up with a friend. I have never been disappointed with food or drinks here! I highly recommend the quesaditzin (entree) and Palomaso (cocktail). Seriously the quesaditzin is so good, I crave It all the time!!!! Also, parking lot in the back is easy to miss, but it’s free! Lastly, the staff has always been so friendly!“

“Was there for a birthday. We were seated inside not on the patio. When the monsoon type storm hit the staff did an amazing job accommodating those that were on the patio. The city-living branch of our family thinks it's well worth the trip out here to LGP. A wonderful restaurant.“

“Love this wine shop. It's an intimate space and seating is 1st come 1st served. They offer more than wine (liquor & beer) and they have non-alcoholic options. I discovered the Gruvi (alcohol removwd red wine) brand here. They have small bites that are actually pretty delicious. It's also a beverage depot so if you dont want to sit, pick a bottle and go!“

“We headed over to Bridgeport to grab some tacos. I ordered delivery from here before but never been to the actual location. I love the outdoor seating spaces that they have.. decked out with lights and a fire pit that smelled so good! When you go inside, they have a lot of throwback decor, which I always love. The cashier was so patient with us and took time to answer our questions as my sister searched to find something that suited her dietary restrictions. It took us a while to make some decisions about what to eat, but ultimately, I had a fish taco and a brisket taco. The fish was just okay.. your typical fried cod with some basic toppings. The brisket was amazing! Their handmade corn shells were so good and fresh . The meat was tender and very well seasoned. My sister had the shrimp taco, which she enjoyed, and also chips and guac. They have various flavors of margaritas and other libations. It's a great place to go for a quick bite, especially if the weather allows you to sit outside. I'll definitely be back!“

“A Chicago institution. If you don't like Maria's then you probably don't like Chicago. That's fine, but why u here? Maria's is a great place to chill with a cold one. They don't have a huge tap list, but they do have a nicely curated mix of local brews. They also have old standbys like Old Style and PBR. Even on a Sunday afternoon they had good music playing. Maria's feels like home. Thats Chicago.“
“I go here 2-3 times a week to sing, drink and mingle with every customer. Everyone talks to you and the staff is the greatest line up anywhere. They love their customers and they like to have fun, as I have seen them dance to karaoke or just being silly with each other. The front deck is amazing and I can't wait for the fun meals once the kitchen is finished. I used to make this a once a year place, but now it is a must stop everytime if out for drinks. Thank you Eileen, Theresa, Karen, Darla and Tracy for making me feel welcome.“
“It consistently remains an excellent spot for enjoying drinks, whether with family or friends, prior to or following Sox games. As one of the last original bars in Bridgeport, it holds historical significance and promises many more years of success and enjoyment to come. A must-visit spot in Bridgeport's rich history.“

“We recently had a large family party at this restaurant. It was my first time at this restaurant but not the first time having Greek food. The food was fantastic! The staff were incredible and so attentive to our party and needs.the gentlemen who worked our event were available and constantly bringing drinks. Our orders were taken perfectly and the food was delivered hot and fresh. My chicken kabobs were cooked perfectly. I wish I didn't eat so much delicious French and Italian bread with olive oil so I could try more of the vegetable dish and potatoes they served. The saganaki was mouth watering. Beautiful job yo these employees and managers. They care for their employees who in turn care for their customers. ???“

“I got some insider information that this is one of the better dim sum places, and it did not disappoint! I was part of a larger group (7 people) so we actually got a private room which was super nice. The only reservation system is a little weird (only Monday-Thursday available to reserve online), but I just called a couple days in advance and that worked out. Dolo has a nice selection of dim sum options, especially congee. There were so many unique ones to choose from! The preserved egg congee was great, and you can't really go wrong with any of the dim sum. We ordered a couple vegetable dishes which were also great (not too oily/salty). Compared to other dim sum restaurants, I think Dolo leaned toward having less salty in general, which I loved. Would highly recommend!“

“The place was NOT what you'd expect from the outside. It's a VERY CLEAN, newly decorated bar/pub table area. The food was above average! We had mushroom appetizers and burgers and they were both cooked to perfection and the fries were delicious. But what's not to love about WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO are FRIENDLY AND KIND THAT SERVES YOU. ANN was the bartender/ waitress and she was one of the nicest people we've met in a long time. Fun conversation, feel like I've known her forever!! Everything WAS GREAT and I've been a total "Karen" lately because of so many bad places!! PUB FOOD AT IT'S BEST, a diamond in the rough!! Give it a try!!!“

“Calling this place a "dive-bar" is a disservice. It's a family run neighborhood bar with the works. Good music (from an awesome preloaded jukebox), a fair selection of beer, wines, and spirits, friendly and quick service, and a very laid back and welcoming atmosphere. The mood definitely gets more upbeat and rowdy(in a good way) when there are things like bingo (Stingo) or live music performances going on, but even when those aren't happening, you can bet there's an interesting film being played on their TV. The owner Steve runs a tight ship, and it shows. I urge anyone passing by or new to the area to come grab a beer on a weekend or weekday night (except Tuesdays because I don't think they're open those days). You're guaranteed to run into the colorful characters that make up the Bridgeport community. I live in the Midway area, and the drive to get here is more than worth the trip. Stop by, grab a beer, order some Japanese food from next door (or tacos across the street) and start a conversation. You'll be hooked immediately and won't regret it ✨“

“Wanted to check out riverside and it's located nicely in their downtown area. Parking is pretty easy. We did like the drinks and the decor was unique. The downside was that it took such a long time to get our drinks despite there being multiple servers and Or bartenders. Also, they need to update their drink prices and include information on surcharges. It was annoying to see the bill.“

“Honestly is the best policy right? Well let me start off by saying my date did NOT make reservations so we had to wait about 15 minutes before we were seated (on Valentine’s Day) which isn’t bad I guess. The problem was we ate dinner at a table in the lobby and the table was as low as the chairs. We ordered wings and I also ordered a Caesar salad. The wings were not that good and the service was horrible. Im guessing they were understaffed sue to the holiday and for folks like us who just popped in at the last moment. ?.The atmosphere is nice, and I would definitely return but maybe just for drinks and conversation.“

“So Good! Vast wine and beer selection, and great intimate atmosphere. I’ve gone by myself and with others, a blast every time. The toffee cake is so damn good, it’s outrageous. “Noticed you have a gluten free menu on our last visit, but here are just a few suggestions for gluten-free protocol:1. Server informed us that the sauces are not gluten free. Please confirm and, if not, mention this on the gluten free menu in the barbecue section.2. Server marked our order with a gluten allergy but the tray was delivered with the meat on top of (touching) bread. Maybe the bread could be put more to the side with the sauces.3. Fries are listed in the gluten free menu but appeared to be breaded. It’s possible that they’re fine, but please confirm for the menu. Thanks for accommodating!“
“Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

“Stopped in with my sister (missed a bus had to wait) and I am so glad we did. We caught the last hour of Happy Hour and tried the wings... Amazing and the sauces served on the side is just a great idea. I was able to try them all. Not a bad one in the bunch. Will be back.“
“Absolutely, let's amp up the excitement: 16th Street Bar & Lounge is an absolute gem! I had the pleasure of attending their open mic night, and wow, was I blown away by the talent on display. They truly embrace the spirit of creativity, allowing anyone who signs up to take the stage and share their passion. The atmosphere was electric with fun, and the spoken word performances? Simply out of this world. Plus, the drinks flowed, contributing to the hip and relaxed vibe that enveloped the whole place. There were countless unforgettable moments throughout the night. And the cherry on top? I got the chance to share a poem dedicated to my wife. It was a night to remember. If you're looking for a place with fantastic talent, great vibes, and a welcoming crowd, 16th Street Bar & Lounge is the spot. Don't miss out! Mark your calendars! Every second Monday of the month, I'll be making a grand return, ready to dazzle and engage with even more vigor than before. Next month, it's on – I'll be back in full force, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and perhaps a few surprises too. Don't miss it!“
“Amazing sports bar! Eric was our “best” bartender with his amazing hospitality and continuous conversation. He was on top of his game with making sure we were taken care of. He truly cared about the conversations he had with us and his guests. The food was great quality and served appropriately. Only if all owners/bartenders could be like Eric, life would be great!“
“Local bar that we walked to to get a few drinks on st Patrick's day. The specials were nice but we ended up getting some Guinness and car bombs. I got to try malort for the first time (not really a fan) prices were fine. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Wasn't too crowded. Had video poker inside which is something I'm not used to due to not being from the Midwest. I'd swing by and get some drinks here again“

“I don't like to leave a review of a place I've been to only once. Needless to say, I have been to The Works Tavern a few times and it's some of the best food in Chicago, especially on the south side. Mike is a culinary expert and my last visit proved it. I legitimately had the best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had. The steak was juicy, the bread was soft and the cheese was super cheesy (10/10).The food is always fresh, the beer is always cold and my kids love the pizza! On our last visit, we ordered the fried zucchini, a pepperoni pizza, wings, and the Philly cheesesteak. Everything was delicious and we washed it down with $3 Pacifico beers. Can't beat that.“

“Admittedly was a skeptic of all the roaring reviews, but they are merited. Our server Alyssa was great - and convinced my wife to get the 1lb burger which she raved about, along with the warm, soft bread. I ordered the chili (temp hot and spicy hot) and the chicken piccata, and both were great. Healthy old fashions in a “your grandma’s basement” kind of vibe. Excited to go back.“
“The place is nice been going into the place here and there and everytime did not disappoint. The bartenders are very nice and cool, eager to play pool and vibe to make the time well spent. Supporting a female owned bar it's awesome to support.“
“Staff was more than helpful and friendly especially since I know I tend to ask questions others do not but I also always do things 100% if I'm doing it otherwise forced might be 20% that ends up like most ppls good enough >80% Prices for tables was surprisingly reasonable per hour since I was expecting it to have doubled since Y2K plus there's a bar attached for those that are not playing on full size tables and teaching 9 ball w 100% tournament rules to 1st timer, was surprised that they have a league but they use bar sized tables not sure if that's something new or two cater to the generation now vs the Minnesota Fats era playersHaving run/owned a large successful event promotion company w sold out shows at top Chicago venues and nightclubs dealing with atmosphere and alcohol along with that guy is a learned skill, though it is a free country, I'd rather not have had that guy who doesnt wanna go home, come bother us to play, esp mid game w $ per ball in play, then disappear >30 mins when he wanted to break (got a 9ball win in against his much more lvl headed younger associate after saying its gonna be a while I'm guessing you just wanna play 9 if ur buddy's a talker)? That if I owned it I'd have said something to him tgfo to his table or to myself on the side at least just to read if I might have problems w the guy later and make sure the broke regular isn't scaring new biz away, based on my dress and demener, plus I had called a cpl hrs earlier w lots of ?'s since last min idea to take coworker to get their mind off things n off the phone, but asked about buying a cue if they sold them, when I got there also fully knowing markup would be high but they didn't have ne premade ones so just grabbed a glove since don't have chalk/powderYou could bring food and hydration powder just not my own hand powder (A negitive cuz I have hyperhydrosis but only 1.8% of population has it mostly less severe, so I get it except if I'm going in a real tournament). That guy had the kid not decide he was gonna go back to his place w him alone and trust he'll get back home, when he has no license or way to Uber even, liked it also but dude was a nuisance, esp as he's trying to stream himself (InfoSec gtf outta my face w it or if it breaks don't get mad at me, IL is still 2 party consent) while trying to flow, if it even deserves that word, from 40yr guy mad after finally getting that I'm not 1/2 his age bro, rather older like when he 1st told me he's 2x, like ok u might be a creep then too if that's impt to say 1st, minus that then having to remind coworker/him to clean their stuff by doing it myself n telling they followed the heard but took 30mins n a cpl cues almost left but took balls back cleaned up already, like he's a grown kid/adult idc it's his decesion, even though 1/2 the reason to take him out was to keep him out of trouble n give run down on what many exp/seen w kids and custody esp being 1st time and naive to women n think she isn't out there or a risk when family is personal injury attorney n u got some dui crash on record still a cpl ppl fig'd a few guys w varied exp might help get it into his head, but yea w/e place was good, full size tables say 8/10 or as expected, atmosphere fine w 1 exception if you drink or break your sealMake sure they don't put you in the corner the furthest from the bar and restrooms if you plan to use the bar a bit or got runs?Pretty sure it goes un-noticed by most, but not great for business either since they were spending more time walking to the bar and bathroom then playing and could have spent more as I was gonna get a pizza vs the way overpriced vending machine junk also far enough I didn't go back to it.Unsure about their tournaments/league, but the guy I played 9 ball w/ waiting for the other 2 had said he goes on day off from open till 6 or so cuz its $10 till that time vs by the hr which is a great price to get ur game up n competition.“

“I came to this place with my wife because we enjoy having a few cheap drinks and trying our luck with the slots. Fortunately I won $75 from a $20, would have been the $120 but I pushed my luck. Nevertheless Windsor Café had great friendly service, cheap drinks, and a clean & sanitary establishment for people to kick back and have a great time!“
“My partner and I came here for drinks after our dinner at Maribel. The bartender is friendly and checked on us several times throughout the evening which I appreciate. They serve pretty much anything you can imagine from mixed drinks to seltzers to beers. My partner ordered two handshakes (Malort shot + Old Style). I ended up trying one of their mixed drinks called Spring Fling which has vodka and other ingredients in it. I appreciate my drink being on the stronger side, where you can taste and feel the alcohol in it, but there's still a bit of flavor and fruitiness to it. There's ample seating at the bar and in the back. It's a fun time, they had the Soxs and the Cubs games on on their TVs. It can be a bit loud where you can hear each other's conversations. It was pretty busy on a Tuesday evening. They also take card and cash here which is convenient. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a good time and affordable drinks.“

“This is my favorite bar in Berwyn. The owners are delightful, and the staff is exceptional. “Their pasta was an absolute delight! Fresh homemade cooked to perfection. You must try the « SPAGHETTI*AL CARTOCCIO » simply the best pasta I’ve tried in a long time and I do eat out a lot! Their pizza was ok but nothing to brag about.I only gave 3 stars for service because I find it annoying how fast they want to clear our plates each time they pass by. They also need to tone it down with how intensively they want to wipe the table while you barely just finished your meal. However I would definitely come back for their pasta alone!“

“I'll be honest with you--I did not want to write this review. I want to keep the Friendly Tap Community a secret. You won't find any place like it. They've got a bar, a coffee shop, live music, open mic night, music lessons, an 80s arcade machine with multiple games, snacks and pizza, and a gallery for shows and other events. Go there often enough and your name will be learned not only by the super-friendly staff, but by other patrons as well. Friendly's lives up to its name well beyond what you may expect. If you can only come here once, come on a Thursday night. There's almost always live music on Thursdays--see my video for an example. If you do go on a Thursday, ask for me so I can welcome you personally. ?Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome anytime but you probably want to keep younger ones during the daytime hours. It can get loud in the evenings. There are games and seating in the room next to the bar but it may be occupied by a band or party at night.Wheelchair accessibility: The front door floors are fairly level with the external ground. It may be easier to enter through the coffee shop as the bar area has stools to navigate in a wheel chair.“
