The brunch buffet was underwhelming. ALL the food choices were merely prepackaged, canned goods, and frozen fish heated by the servers. I expect soul food to be from the soul. Every dish lacked seasoning and I should have known the food wasn't going to be great by the disclaimer on the menu of "no refunds for food not to the customer's liking". The servers were really nice people, but the food was entirely disappointing. I will not return for brunch. Maybe the dinner set will be a better experience.

It's been awhile since I've been here and unfortunately the service hasn't improved, after placing our order the waitress was absent most of the night althrough the crowd was not that large.... shockingly there was not drink menu and since I'm not a bartender we were left to order a few soso margaritas... This is a live band venue but the sound level from the band made it nearly impossible to have a conversation, it can be turned down ti match the crowd size.Positives... the songstress _Omgee was great, she really handle the set ( even encouraged everyone to grab a shot of tequila for Cinco de Mayo... but the waitress never came around to take our order ?), the wings (whole) were pretty good.

Culture is a nice place… Great vibe nice people and the live music was off the chain.The menu is very limited with about 4 choices. Looking on the site before going I knew what I was going to get but that option wasn’t available.I think they have a different menu day to day. The drinks are not strong so maybe pass on the 12.00 Margarita.I will say that the owner was super nice and open to hear feedback.Very nice place , I will return..

I was really excited about going to a new spot. The band was pretty good. Service sucked. They close at 1am and the server told us " Last call " at 11:00 pm. I said I thought you all close at 1am. She then relies" well once the band stop we are basically closing. Really ??? Food order was wrong. I had 1 glass of red wine then asked for another one , 20 minutes later Im told there isn't any more. The host at the door was awesome .

Customer service was good but they're a little disorganized. We had a party of four and two people had been before so they suggested we go. I had seen the menu online and was looking forward to the visit. However when we got there they had 5 food items and just as many $10 cocktails. Our server said they were trying something different which I understand but that should definitely be known on the website. So that was a disappointment because there were food items I was looking forward to trying. We all ordered the $10 drinks but when the bill came it was $50 plus. My friend asked why the bill was high seeing as the drinks are $10 and the server asked where she got that from? Well clearly it's on this limited menu you have ? so she adjusted the bill.We had a 6:15 reservation and the place opens at 6 so we were the first ones inside, meaning our food order was the first taken. The shrimp were left off the two pasta dishes which is funny because like I said the cook only had four orders in the kitchen! Our server caught it and had them make the shrimp but of course the food is getting cold while waiting.I also didn't like that our server just came to our table with a tablet and told us what our bill was instead of giving us a receipt. Security was bussing tables, bartenders were serving food, and some customers were upset their order wasn't taken. I see the potential if they regroup.

I went there for the first time tonight. Nice location, lounge itself was good however, if I could give the service -1 star I would. First ... they have very limited alcohol. A bar with limited alcohol ... hmmm. So my g friend that invited me to her friends birthday celebration ordered a peach margarita because of the limited alcohol. She got that drink and it was too sweet so she sent it back or at least a woman not our server came and picked it up. 5 seconds later the bartender came over to explain the drink. It was awful so she ordered a Titos and cranberry. Me after waiting for 40-45 minutes the server came over to take my food order. Hats off to the chef. Although I received sauteed butter spinach instead of green beans I enjoyed every morsel. Now I'd gotten the sweet red wine because they have no prosecco nor champagne at that place. By then my g-friend had the stank face which she had the rest of the night. We received a cold bottle of water but no cups to drink from. Finally I received my food but no silverware and I asked for cups for the water. I assume the guy didn't hear since we got no cups. So I proceeded to ask again for cups and he said with an attitude what else do you need. Well .. dammit better service. He didn't bring a cup. The server saw my hand movement and came over and we finally got 3 cups of water. Apparently she didn't see the bottle of water. So it took yet another 40-45 minutes to get the servers attention for the check and another 30 minutes for her to come back for the check. In the meantime I noticed the magarita my g- friend didn't was on the bill, Titos and cranberry she never received was on the bill, 2 pieces of catfish in size would total 1 piece cost 25.00 and my wine wasn't on the bill. Well you know I got that fixed. I had to yell over the noise and server thought I was yelling at her and I was not. So she removed the drinks and added the wine however, she started talking to my g-friend and not the person who placed the order. Anyway I finally could leave. Honestly I'm not sure if I'd return againbut my g-friend definitely said no she's going to return.

So this place is great for a quick vibe for good food and music. The food looked great ??. The Local artist were great. Had a ball with friends.Parking: So there are several free parking lots that are off the main streets.

Horrible service. Sat at a table with friends for over a hour with no server even speaking to us. Got my own drink from the bar after waiting over 20 min. When they did finally take my order (1 hr 12 min after arrival) my food came after orders of people who joined my party after the order. This could've been a great spot to frequent repeatedly but I prefer to spend my money at places that show their appreciation through quality service
Definetly enjoyed myself for a Thursday night. It was Frankie's birthday, she has a beautiful voice. All of the local artist were great, loved the atmosphere, I will be back. Due to downtown Homewood parking can be a challenge but there are several lots off the main street that are free.

I literally had to get up from my table and go to the bar to order drinks. My server was extremely slow. There wasn't a huge crowd that evening so I don't understand the delay. My food took over an hour, my lobster was mushy, and then there was a dispute over how many drinks my friend had. The atmosphere was amazing and the band was great.

My daughter, her mother in law, myself and several of her friends dined at CULTURE for Sunday Brunch March 12, 2023.The place is clean, had a wonderful decor. Walking in, my first impression was, I liked it a lot.We had a reservation and was seated right away. We were given menus and had time to make our choices.One thing I did notice, the music being performed by a DJ was very loud. I asked our waitress if she could ask the DJ to lower the volume a bit. She took exception to me asking and never had a word with the DJ at all. During our whole dining experience we literally screamed at each other and repeated ourselves a lot due to the loud music. The music got louder as the afternoon went on.The DJ was in a zone all by himself, he was not aware that customers would like to have conversation with each other at our perspective tables. This was not a dance club where loud music is the norm.After ordering our food, it took the better part of an hour for it to start arriving and not all at the same time, as it should be for a group table setting.I ordered coffee and was told later that the coffee machine was broken, what restaurant can’t make coffee at a brunch?I ordered pork sausage and got turkey sausage instead. My pancakes came without butter, had to ask for that. The best thing from my order was the hash browns, no doubt came from the freezer in a bag.My daughter ordered shrimps and grits. This serving had no peppers and the sausage was omitted as well. The full serving per the menu was not prepared. Due to the delay of the food arriving she was reluctant on asking for a correction in fear her meal would take even longer.Two of the ladies ordered the lamb chops, only one lady got hers the other lady got her order of lamb chops after everyone else was finished eating.When it came to settling the bill, there was a bit of confusion as well from the waitress. The owner specifically advised that my daughters meal would be free since she was celebrating her birthday, and the lamb chop meal that came after everyone was done eating would be 1/2 off, (which should have been complimentary due to the delay in being served). The waitress / hostess only provided $10 off and my daughter had to bring to her attention that was not the full discount.Overall this is a beautiful establishment that has great potential. I would love to come back and support however after my own experience and seeing other patrons have had the same if not very similar experiences it would be very hard to confidently come back or even recommend that others come to dine here. I think a major assessment of the reviews from Both Google review and Yelp should be analyzed and an action plan should be created to improve serving time, hospitality , and food being prepared correctly as the menu states. I believe this would add much value to the experience and would Foster return patronage.Note: this is not a review just from my perspective, these are all of the concerns noted from each of the 7 guests that dined on March 12 for Brunch.

The name should speak for itself. Kinda like "if you know you know". Lol Culture is a really cozy spot to give you all the things you never knew you needed on a week day and on the weekend. GREAT SIPS, good food and music that brings it all together-for the culture! Don't take my word for it, check them out on social media, the web and please stop in to enjoy a place for us to be us by us!

Amazing!!!! Amazing!!!! Amazing!!! The food was Delicous! The drinks where superb! and the atmosphere was astonishing. HIGHLY recommended giving this place a visit to experience some culture!
