My food and the service was great! Very fresh and tasty. I ordered the orange chicken, plain fried rice, veggies, and shrimp egg foo young for my family. Everyone enjoyed the meal. I'll definitely return again! Sorry I should've taken the picture before we ate.

Subpar Chinese takeout. The roasted pork chow mein tasted like dishwater last time we ordered. Teriyaki chicken had gross amounts of fat. I've tried to like this place several times in the six years I've lived in Homewood, and I just can't. I regret it every time I allow my kids or partner to persuade me to order from Eat Rice.

I went in there to order a pepper steak with lo mein noodles and a large sweet n sour chicken. The young Asian woman didnt care about my order and slammed my bag of food and the pepper steak was the absolute worst tasting food I ever had. It was slime gammy and taste truly like rat meat. I took one bite out the pepper stake and spit it out and threw the rest of the out. I wouldn't feed this to my dog. Would not recommend this place and no longer spending money there after spending years as a customer. Do not waste your money here like I did, go to Asian Harbor which is right around the corner with better quality food.
Probably the best Chinese food I've had in the south suburbs!

We ordered the general Tso’s chicken and there was more breading than chicken, maybe 70% breading to 30% chicken. We were very disappointed. I is time to find another Chinese takeout. I would not recommend “Eat Rice” to anyone!
