Nice place. Drinks were stiff. I should have tipped more. Smoke smell was heavy but a friendly place

Great people, great drinks, and fun times to be had. I always enjoy an evening out at the Ridge!

If you're looking for a local bar, that isn't fancy, this is the place. Good spot to wait for the Metra or Amtrak trains as it is across the street from the train station. They've remodeled the place during the Pandemic and it's fabulous. Also they have a fantastic trivia show on Tuesday nights.

This place reminds me of an episode of bar rescue where the egocentric owner berates his employees and patrons.

The color of worn asphalt. The number 6. The smell of water. The waddle of possums. These are not amongst this world’s finest experiences. Still, we need roads and six and water and the foraging marsupials. And we need Ridgewood Liquor Store & Tap. Without it, the world would seem incomplete.
