I have eaten their twice on two separate occasions once for lunch and once for dinner. On both occasions the food was wonderful I had the hamburger and fries the first time and the brisket the second. Everything was cooked wonderfully and very delicious.The service is prompt and responsive very polite.Location is in the downtown area with street parking limited on site parking behind the restaurant.I well happily eat there again when I'm in the area.And for those concerned about it being a bar and grill there is a separate seating area with tables and chairs and some booths separate from the bar area and they have a kids menu so it is family-friendly.Con... It's an 1 hour drive to get there...Kid-friendliness: Dedicated kids menu along with a seating area that is separate from the bar area.
The brisket was dried out. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. Coke slaw was tasty.Parking: Went around the corner and parked in the back. Door says bakery entry but it takes you into the BBQ restaurant.

I figured that with a name like Twisted Q that I would try some BBQ. Well that was a mistake. I ordered the brisket and let me tell you the brisket was like Chewey Jerky with no smoke ring or flavor. Dry is an understatement. I had to drown the pieces with the bbq sauce on the table to even make it remotely edible. The waiter could tell I was disappointed but never said anything either. Oh well, I always like to give new places a chance and wouldn’t go back here just because of the portion to price. Expensive for subpar BBQ. My friend ordered the fried chicken and that was crispy with flavor. So if you do decide to go I would recommend the chicken and coleslaw.

Casual bbq place with a nice neighborhood-y bar and great food.The salmon burger is so good – some of my favorite sides are the corn pudding, potato salad and cole slaw.My boyfriend loved his fried chicken dinner as well.Service is quick and friendly. We will be back.
I'm giving Twisted Q all four stars because of its uniqueness. There's a small bar,barstool eating area, booths and tables, with the most extensive menu I've ever seen for bar food. So really, it's like a restaurant / bar fusion. Try it. It's great fun with unique old fashioned atmosphere. The food photographs I've shown are there famous Twisted barbecue pulled pork sandwich which is absolutely delicious and a heavy serving, and they're Saint Patrick's Day corned beef cabbage potato carrots special for 16.99 enough food for two people. All of their portions are very generous. Reasonably priced.

Hidden gem of Homewood. Nice cozy spot. Some places just feel right. This is one of them. Feels like home. Glad I gave it a try. Will be a regular here.

OMG the meat was falling off of the bones. It was worth the money. I wish I would’ve chose a different side other than fries, but I do like the option of steamed vegetables and other sides unlike most barbecue spots. The barbecue sauce was awesome.
