I grew up in with a neighborhood bakery, and great baked goods every weekend. When I went back to the old neighborhood, it was gone, and I've only found poor substitutes for the next 30 years. Then I found Kean's, and it has lived up to my old memories. Busy with overworked counter-women who are always polite and courteous, and fantastic baked goods. My wife and I love stopping by every Saturday morning to pick up any number of assorted baked goods. The baked cinnamon rolls are my favorite, though I haven’t been able to find something they don’t do well. Try the French silk pie as well!
