Came to eat here, said it opened at 4pm it was 4:15pm and doors were locked. No note for reason. Obviously poorly ran restaurant.

The brisket was some of the best I've had. If you want an "off the beaten path" local joint feel, this place is nice. They were clearly caught off guard by having several families arrive at once, causing quite a wait. The food was totally worth the wait. I'm not big on eating in a bar, and that is kinda the feel of this place, but I had a nice conversation over a really good meal. If I remember right, the price was also very reasonable.

Not bad place. I had the seafood basket. Clams were good, the breaded shrimp was over freid, the cod breading was good but couldn't taste the cod. Couldn't get my drink till I asked then never was able to get a refill. But, the others I was with had a good experience.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I'm usually pretty understanding with the food industry but for an $80 check this was downright unacceptable. Idk what they think brisket is but it's definitely not what they're serving. Was more like a pot roast, 90% fat, what little meat that was there was tough and hard to chew. No smoke flavor at all. They should be forced to remove the word barbeque from their name. Mac n cheese was mediocre at best. Best thing on my plate was the fries. Daughter's grilled cheese was burnt and the wife's brisket sandwich was as bad as mine if not worse, she wasn't even able to finish it. My other daughter had the Philly cheese steak and said it was good so I guess that was deserving of 1 star. With those prices you definitely need to step up your product. Definitely won't be back.

The food was not great, the brisket was not anything like a brisket should taste. It was more fat than meat. It was just honestly

The pork tenderloin sandwich had no flavor and not sure if if it had any meat. Not as advertised.

Was our first time there with our kids and we won't be going back. I was not happy with portions or the price for hardly no food. And my daughter got a grilled cheese kids meal witch didn't come with a side or a drink all charged separate and then it was burnt she couldn't eat it. 75$ for 3 kids meals and two pony shoes. Not happy

Pretty neat little place on the square. The food is pretty standard, not much to expect out of a bar establishment, but the menu does have some decent gems. I especially enjoyed the New York ribeye, w/ a loaded backed potato and coleslaw on the side a few months back. Not a big fan of drinking, but they do have a pool table in there as well, which is nice.If you don't want to deal with the high school / college crowds or the noisy speakers of the other place on the square, then this is definitely a nice little restaurant/bar to check out.Kid-friendliness: I've seen people bring their kids there and they don't mind, as long as they behave and don't order any booze of course.Parking: Plenty of parking on the square. There is also a decently sized lot out back.Back patio as well for hanging out during warmer months.

Possibly the worst BBQ that I have ever ate! Ever had cold BBQ before? Neither have I until tonight.Canned beans, with no flavor. I don't think I have ever had pulled pork with no flavor. The most unknowledgeable staff I have ever met, maybe new ownership, who knows. First time there, last time there.
It's mostly the barbecue brisket was mostly fat and the barbecue sauce was cold like it just came out of container in the

Best part was the baked beans. We all had the pork BBQ sandwich. Buns were a bit stale and the pork was good. Over all not bad, not great.

The workers were very nice. There was positive vibes during our visit. The food was great. Thank you.

3 people that were with us including me had brisket but it was so fatty and mushy that none of us finished it. It seemed more like a fatty roast. The kids ordered macncheese and it came out in a little side dish. We ended up having to order another one for each kid.
