This small cafe has homemade soups and food. The cauliflower cheese soup was amazing and my sandwich was delicious. The server was friendly, gave good advice, and kept my beverage filled. This restaurant is a little treasure.

It was almost 90 degrees outside but they didn't have the air-conditioning running. This made my soup and grilled cheese which would have normally been delicious almost inedible as I couldnt stop sweating enough to finsh it. I got the Almond joy type dessert and it was AWFUL. my soup and sandwich (grilled cheese and tomato bisque) were delicious, however. Of course, you're probably thinking how hard is it to make a grilled cheese and soup, right? I can say try theirs before you pass judgment, because it was delicious!

I felt like I was stepping into a small-town movie when I walked in here. It's so cute, quaint and cozy. I sat down for a sandwich and got the buffalo chicken grilled cheese. It was SO good. Tasted homemade and filled me right up. The high ceilings and the pastry case are only a few of the things that make this spot so cute and, dare I say, old fashioned. It feels like the little ice cream shop from It's a Wonderful Life...but make it a restaurant! The square right outside is storybook and I made sure to sit on the side of the table where I could see it. Absolutely visit Schiraz if you ever make your way to Jacksonville, IL!

Best experience had in long time at a restaurant!! The coffee flight was amazing and the soups and grilled cheese sandwich are so delicious. We ended with dessert. This will become a new favorite place to frequent. The staff are like family. A Must Go Thumbs Up!!!!

Meh. Tomato bisque tasted like watered down tomato past. Not impressed. Hope they will put a little effort into their food otherwise, it's a total "thumbs down" for me. Still, I wish the all success.
