I love the food, growing up in Miami I always loved Venezuelan food and this place definitely hits the spot. The menu is great and they are open reliably. Unlike other restaurants in Downtown Joliet, these guys are open every time I swing by. I always leave here wanting more.

My brother and a friend stopped in here because we were looking for a restroom but we found something so much better we had never had authentic Venezuelan food before but it was delicious and not only were we amazed by their food but also by their kindness the next time I’m in Joliet I know where I’ll be eating

I don’t typically leave reviews but me and my friends came to get something to eat. We waited an hour for empanadas and two tacos. They completely ignored our table and the food was waiting at the counter the entire time. We paid $65 for probably the worst service I’ve EVER received.

This was my first time here and was recommended by a friend. I ordered the Cuban sandwich which was very tasty and it came with fries and I got an iced tea to wash it all down. My only complaint is all of this cost me $23!!! Very good food but a little too pricey to come back.

I recommended this place to my family, my daughter in law is Venezuelan. They were ignored for the time they walked in. When the owner finally took their order, they blamed them for coming in at the wrong time. Also the owner Theresa has some very harsh criticisms on her FB page regard slavery & black Americans. She presents a totally different view point in person. Won’t ever set foot in this place again.

Amazing empanadas and steak. Fantastic customer service we will definitely be back. This place is a delicious gem of Latin American food we stumbled upon. My daughter and I had the best time and will definitely be back!

We were really hoping this place would have good food, instead we sat there and watched as they microwaved every single dish that came out of that kitchen! We should have walked right out as soon as we walked in and it Didn't smell like any food at all. There were 3 people in that kitchen, no masks, no gloves, microwaving EVERYTHING!! Horrendous and such a waste of our money. You figured out of the 3 one could turn on a stove and actually cook- heat- season a dish. The Argentinian empanadas were a dry, stale greasy mess. The Venezuelan empanadas were a bit better if you get over the fact that they went from frozen to nuked! In that case I could've bought them from the frozen isle section myself. The Pernil platter was so dry and tasteless along with the plantains that were literally raw bc once again how does anything cook in a microwave?! SAVE yourself the stomachache and your money Go Elsewhere!!! I want to give it ZERO STARS to this restaurant

What a shame . The Argentina empanadas were dark and looked overcooked. The venezolano empanada looked good and fresh. I ordered paisa fusion, big mistake! The pork meat had a bad taste like it's going to get me sick bad. The plantains were dry as was the meats. Only edible thing were the black beans. My wife did not like that they kept on using the microwave to reheat all the food. The kitchen staff wore no masks or gloves! The flans were ok and I'd have it with a coffee. My advise is if you can't make your food fresh. Don't sell it.

Food was great! The only thing that i disliked was how long it took for us to get our food. Next time will definitely order a head.

Nice surprise downtown Joliet. We had the Variety appetizer platter, the Ropa Vieja and choruzcada. Loved all our choices. Definitely try the Orchata beverage. Tastes like a yummy rice pudding.
