Contrary to some of the other reviews the man running the business is a really decent, nice guy. I've been in there three times and he is just usually working hard trying to get the orders out. Best hotlink I've ever had. Wings are a solid 8.5 and the rib tips are fantastic.

Waited over an hour, which was fine because I seen he was working alone, and according to most reviews the food be fresh, plusI love to support small businesses. I ordered turkey hot link and( 2) 4 wings. Luckily I was standing at the counter as he was packaging my food. My hot link fell on the floor he picked it up and put it in a container put fries sauce and bread on top and called out my order, I asked him very politely if he served me food that fell to the floor he said “if you don’t want, I’ll refund you. I don’t have another fresh one, I make them fresh” I requested a refund in shock that he was ok serving me food that fell on the nasty floor. And he was taking payments and making food with his bare hands,I’m pregnant and was really craving some BBQ. Unfortunately I will not be back.

The owner has a terrible attitude, you are upset because you are receiving business at the end of your hours. If you have a problem with people doing business with you late in the evening close earlier. No food is worth having to meet the attitude of an owner. Terrible customer service by far & will not be back.

First off, I want to say the food here is very tasty. The wait times are RIDICULOUS. Ordered at 5:50pm and did not receive my order until 730. While I understand fresh food takes time this was to long of a wait! No apology was given for the wait

1st time customer that will definitely be back!! I’ve been wishing for 11yrs since I moved from Chicago to Romeoville for some Chicago style/tasting BBQ. I’ve found it NOW. Delicious….

The place is ratatouille. It's always a nice environment. You'll need serious money of at lease twenty five dollars. To spend on something that a full a stomach.

Very pleasant atmosphere, gentlemen working the kitchen was very pleasant, plenty of seating, bathrooms for men and women, large portions, fries are fresh, rib tips were delicious. The sauce has some spice if you get the hot.

The food is worth the unwelcomed attitude of the owner which I think finally started to change for the better the man is serious dedicated and unsociable but he has to care but the way of showing it he just got some issues but he takes pride in his business and his work and that's what we're there for not to control the man's personality but people will be hanging out the door if that was adjusted to a more gentle presentation in tone and eye contact don't take more than 15 seconds to but some people have issues in most time it's you but if you get what you came here for although you going to wait because it's that busy and he's at home so that's his house with his rules I get it but if I had a choice he would be number two instead of number one and where I go just because of an attitude just adjustment lack okay I hope it helps somebody but you're not going to get a better barbecue in Joliet and sometimes I think he knows that but I'm sure life will teach you we're the reason you're there in the first place when them bills start screaming and inflation starts scratching you oh you going to come down a little bit in that none welcoming attitude but on the flip side once you get to know the man he's dedicated to his work therefore us we don't know his struggles and I have gotten a sense of family just as they are unconditionally human when I'm there I don't like the way he presents things but I love the way he presents my real tips

Very good food. Be prepared to wait as your food is cooked fresh. Price point isn't bad as you get fresh, great tasting food and quite a bit.

Hello my Yelp family. So if you want some good BBQ then this is the place. Kevin owns and operates this BBQ spot, he is the cashier, food /order preparer and cook and he is doing this with two bad knees, his explains why it takes a while before you get your food. Now when you get it, all the above doesn't mean anything because the food really taste great. So don't expect great customer service, just expect really great food.

Second time around at this place and it had been some years since the first time. New place but your rib tips are still tough. Try some pointers from Louisiana BBQ . No 3 strikes for you. 2 is enough. You're out! Please get rid of my home town name because that is defiantly not the style.

The food here is pretty good, I definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't already. Coleslaw and ribs is always the best.
