What a great old fashioned bakery! This is right off I80 as you go thru Joliet. Stop and pick up some bread, donuts, cookies, pies,, anything you like. It's all great!

Ordered my daughter's birthday cake for a Valentine's Day themed party and it turned out fabulous. They have the best atomic cake and everyone enjoyed it. They only charged me $5 extra for decorating. The entire cake cost me a 1/4 of the cost compared to other bakeries in the area. My only complaint is they were hard to get a hold of via email.

First timers here. I really wanted an authentic whipped cream cake for my birthday. So I ordered the whipped cream Automic cake. It's more like a whip cream FLAVOR frosting and for the whole 9" cake it seems like barely any fruit inside. For a $60 birthday cake and first impressions mean alot to me NO we will NOT be back. We drove 16 miles to get to and fro Day before purchased nice pastry squares ( cheese & additional fruit including 2 cherry) so EXPENSIVE. I shared 1 cherry w.my daughter and she reported a small very hard ( prbly a pit) she chewed on and sunk in a tooth tht she had to dig out! I informed the very young lady in front of bakery and she just gave me a far off unconcerned look and said O. If my daughter's tooth broke tht O wld have turned into an O!!!!! Sorry!! Won't happen again! To the staff here: when customer's request whipped cream...they mean WHIPPED CREAM us old schooler's are used to from back in the day. I will save my money and make my own. Thank you. We work hard for our money. Although we appreciate your effort it just did not give me that phenomenal impression that would keep me coming back AGAIN and again. Picture shows very thin scarce banana strawberry only in middle .

Very old school which I appreciate. Walked in at 8 am and I have to say there wasn't much to pick from as far as donuts and pastries. Had a few questions which were answered but we were kind of taken aback by the disinterest and unfriendliness of the girl behind the counter. Didn't say hello, have a nice day nothing. Straight faced and seemed almost bothered. We picked a couple things and they were good. I guess if you are in the area stop in but don't go out of your way.

Excellent bakery with great variety - doughnuts, bread, potica, cake - of top notch items. Employees always friendly and professional. And Milano bread is used at many local restaurants and can be purchased in some stores. A Joliet icon.

I came here for the first time today. I wanted to try their paczkis but they stopped selling them a few weeks ago. The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The store had nobody in it, so it was easy to order. I got this round small bunny cake slice. The inside was vanilla cake with buttercream and was really good. It was not overly sweet and I definitely would get it again. It was such a cute design! The second thing I tried, was the brownie with peanut butter whipped cream on top. This was pretty good, I did like the bunny cake slice better. This brownie was not overly sweet either, which I do appreciate. Both items came out to be $5.81 so I thought that was a great deal. The bakery is definitely old-fashioned and you can tell it's been here many many years. They have a big parking lot and I do recommend giving them a try. They do close at 1 PM weekdays but they open as early as 5:30 in the morning. I would return if I am in the area again.

Good bakery, great bread great crust, classic great cookies. Italian cookies, donuts of all types very good. The pastries could be done a little more cooked a little more but overall very tasty. Services is good always busy. However, the outside needs a good update and a little TLC. Cases need a little attention that display bakery. Their cakes are very tasty. Very good summer more moist than others. Depends on what you get. But they can make whatever cake you would like or any kind of bread you could possibly think of. Good taste of Italy. Been going there for over 60 years.

They make quality baked goods but are horribly over priced! 1 loaf of french bread. 2 paczki's and 1 bag of peanut butter cookies for $30. Those prices are an insult to the people of Joliet!

This is my second trip to this Joliet bakery. Last time I had the cookies, this time I purchased the death by chocolate which is their twist on a donut with a chocolate pie inside. I also purchased a small chocolate pie. Both were very good!

I have heard rumors about them not using gloves when preparing food. I really want to go as well but by the time I'm done with school it's closed. I also have no time before I have work but I'm more concerned about the roomers?
