Wow!!! I’m blown away!!! The one in Morris used to be this good, but they let it go so badly. The man that owns it put his heart and soul into it, and his family ruined it. But here, at this kankakee one, the bread is super soft, the Italian sausage tastes like Italian sausage!! The hotdogs are the best!!! And the chili dogs are amazing!! I’m so happy to still be able to get my favorite food even if I do have to travel now to get it. I’m not going to lie though, the reviews for the moldy fountain scared me from getting a drink. Since the other reviews are wrong. I may go ahead and try it next time. Also, some reviews said the staff was bad, I didn’t see it this time. My nephew is special needs and they were very friendly with him. I’m happy with portions. We all left full. I’m super happy with this visit.Parking: Parking is simple, right at the front doorKid-friendliness: They were friendly with my nephew who is autistic. So kids would be no problem.Wheelchair accessibility: You ca. easily get in with a wheelchair.

The food is alright, but the portions and the girls prepping the food don't add up. (Chili boat) with little to no chili??? gravy bread with no gravy just basically bread ???To the owners you have to do better at training these girls!

It's a great place to grab a good Italian beef. The inside is counter seating and there are outdoor tables. Don't go for atmosphere...not that type of place.
