Another really good pizza here. It also warms up great in the oven...so get extra.

First time here, smaller restaurant, the calamari was good, but I would not get the side salad opt for the soup instead. Waitress was really attentive.

We tried this place for the heck of it a year and a half ago. We've been regulars since. Fantastic made from scratch food with good ingredients. Service has always been good too. All the plates are generously portioned and delicious. The only complaint I may have is that the tiramisu is not the best. That being said I'd like to end this review by saying I've tried hundreds of different pizzas and the pizza here is one of the best Chicago has to offer.

First time there for me, my wife and our two friends . The atmosphere was ok but thought we would be sitting in a dining room. The service was excellent. We liked the Lasagna a lot but thought the Pizza was just ok. I think we need to try it again.

We don't get to go out often since I teach past 9:00 most nights, but had an early night and were told 8:15 would be ok. I know that's late for the restaurant, but our server was friendly anyway and still offered appetizers and desserts. She took good care of us, and we never felt rushed. The food was delicious. I hope to return someday at an earlier time to order more courses (we kept it simple for BOH staff since we knew it was late even if they went out of their way to not make us feel that way). I also appreciated the amount of tomato free options offered!

Dont waste your money. The food was terrible. The staff was argumentative when addressed with the poor quality of food. What restaurant serves hot food on ice cold plates?! They didnt even know the difference between mostaccoli and penne pasta.

This is the best thin crust pizza I've ever had in Chicago. Quite thin (a little thicker than Vito & Nicks), nice and salty sauce and cheese, served piping not. We ordered a pepperoni pie, and a sausage pie. Each one could have used more toppings; several slices were just cheese. But the overall quality of the pizza is just outstanding.

I had been coming here for several years, but not so in the last three years. The atmosphere and the food were always great with reasonable prices.Tonight we celebrated a friend's birthday. We ordered calamari and it was greasy! Received the salad and there was barely any dressing. Two of us ordered chicken dishes. I ordered Chicken Marsala. One little piece of chicken drowning in brown sauce. Barely any mushrooms, and it tasted like it was out of a can! $18.95 for that! Chicken Saltimbocca is the same thing. One tiny piece drowning in sauce. Not worth the money! It’s changed! The new owner is rude and an a$$hole. I'm never coming back, there are better places in the Village to spend my money.

I am walking home from the restaurant now beyond disappointed and appalled at the experience I just received. My husband and I moved to the area 2 months ago and live within a 5-minute walk. All we ordered was a pepperoni pizza. After 40 minutes of waiting, our server informed us there was a “miscommunication” with the system and the order had not been started. She asked what else she could do or get for us in the meantime. We asked if an appetizer could be out sooner as we had already waited too long. She said yes and put in an order. It came out 10 minutes later. We then waited another 10 minutes and finally received our pizza. We ate & asked for the check. The check was full price for everything and we were charged for the appetizer.I then approached the counter very politely and said that I didn’t feel like I should be charged for the appetizer as I only ordered it because our pizza took too long to come out.The associate grabbed the owner. When the owner came out he was extremely rude and disrespectful toward me. I did not receive an apology. However, I received a “you got your pizza and appetizer, didn’t you?”There were multiple issues happening around us at the same time, too. One table behind us was frustrated with the food, two parties were waiting a very excessive time for take-out orders, etc.I hope no one else is ever disrespected like I just was by the owner. We will never be back, which is extremely disappointing considering we live around the corner. To complete the experience, as we were walking home, someone from the restaurant was pouring a bucket of liquid into the village's stormwater drain. I don't think it was rainwater, either.

Their sauce is delicious. Every time I ordered here (whether 20 minutes before closing or during a monsoon) they have accommodated my orders graciously and the food never disappoints. You have gained a customer for life with your commitment to excellent food and service.
