I would highly recommend fourteensixteen as it is by far the best restaurant in lagrange. The staff are amazing, the vibes are on point, and the location itself presents itself well. I got the pistachio covered lamb rack when I last went, and it was phenomenal. The dish held up well, the lamb was moist, and the sauces complimented the lamb perfectly. I also had the mango cheesecake, and I can still remember how perfect the cheesecake was. It was a perfect amount of cheesecake flavor to mango flavor. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant as I have yet to see a better one in the surrounding area.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner! We went on the Sunday night after Valentine’s Day and got the prefix menu of mussels, filet and strawberry mousse and everything was absolutely delicious. They nailed the cook on the meat perfectly (medium rare)!Only negative about our experience was the service. Our waitress took awhile to first greet us and then was pretty absent the whole meal.But, we will definitely be back!

I recently visited this place for dinner and had a generally positive experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including salads, cheese, steaks, meatballs, and branzino, and most of the food was delicious. However, there were a few hiccups that prevented me from giving it a perfect rating.The salads were fresh and flavorful, the cheese selection was fantastic, and the branzino was cooked to perfection. The steaks, while delicious, came with a couple of issues. The first concern was the saltiness of the fries that accompanied the steak; they were a bit too salty for our liking. The second issue was with the steak doneness. Two of us ordered medium, while the other two requested medium-well, but all the steaks were served medium. This mix-up was a bit disappointing as we were looking forward to our preferred levels of doneness.Despite these minor setbacks, the attentive service and the overall ambiance of the restaurant made for an enjoyable dining experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which added to the positive atmosphere.In summary, this restaurant offers a great dining experience with a diverse menu and attentive service. However, they could improve by ensuring that orders are prepared to the specified doneness and by addressing the saltiness of the fries. I would still recommend this place for a nice dinner, but be sure to clarify your steak preferences when ordering.
We had my niece's wedding shower at fourteensixteen last weekend. It was exceptional and everyone enjoyed the event. Jim and Elise made sure the shower planning and service were excellent. And the delicious food was the icing on the cake! For events or a great dinner I would highly, highly recommend "fourteensixteen". This is our go-to restaurant when we want high-quality delicious food in the south west suburbs! I have never had a bad meal here! The menu changes seasonally, but you can never go wrong with the cheese board or flatbread! My husband personally swears by the burger! If you can, try to sit on the covered rooftop deck- it's heated in the colder months and feels super cozy!Vegetarian options: The seasonal gnocchi can often be made vegetarian and is always delicious!

I honestly really enjoyed my experience. They seemed to really care about customer satisfaction. There was a mixup with the reservations and the manager apologized and quickly corrected the mixup. We both ordered steak options and both plates were cooked perfect, but I'm most amazed with the sauce they offered. They also have Irish coffee! It was nicely decorated and a rooftop is available. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive and friendly.
