Milk Money Brewing is too cool for downtown Lagrange, but I still appreciate its' presence nonetheless. It's a local brewery with great drinks on tap, good cocktails, and yummy food. I happen to go there during sunset and it was brutal through the glass window, but that isn't so much their fault, just be mindful of the time of day. It's a family friendly place too, so feel free to bring your kids to get some food as well. I'd definitely recommend them!

Super clean. Server was excellent. Daily specials. We all really enjoyed our food. Large variety of appetizers. Big menu for a brewery restaurant. Right in the heart of downtown La Grange. Park in the parking garage if you don't find street parking. The garage is right behind the restaurant.

Pretty standard modern brew, pub vibe. The beers were good, and the selection is good. The weight staff was nice, and the person in our group who did get food said they really liked it.There is parking in the back, but you have to go around to the parking structure a street over to find it. I almost feel like they need a sign, because my big complaint in going here was finding parking.

This is a gem of a local neighborhood microbrewery, with a very solid lineup of gastropub-type fare. Their beers are phenomenal. I'm normally a heavy ale guy (BARIS is my favorite style) but I have to say the La Grange Lager is one of the best lagers I've ever had. I usually get flights to sample multiple styles, and they do well across the light lager to dark ale spectrum. There's a nice back room (semi open to front) for families or parties or events, and they show off all of their various brewing equipment (mash tuns, boiling kettles, fermenters, etc) behind floor-to-ceiling glass, which looks really nice. The kitchen is open (always a good sign) and the food is good as I mentioned, although I'd challenge them to create some slightly more healthy but good options. Most of their food is really heavy and mostly fried. That said, I definitely recommend a visit to anyone who hasn't been. I've been here at least a dozen times and counting.

Just returned from Milk Money and give it a "D". Why not a "F"?...the beer was very good and the bartender was very good. Why a "D"...we sat at the bar where it was painfully obvious that they needed more than one bartender. The service was horrible. Long waits to order, get your beer, get a napkin, water, a fork....but the one bartender was hustling . I ordered the street burger for $19 when my wife and I finally got his attention. It was horrible. The double burgers were hockey pucks...no moisture. They put on a glob of ...I think...roasted garlic aioli, bacon..but it tasted like nothing and it had two onion rings on it that were not cooked. So the uncooked batter of the onion rings mixed with the big glob of whatever and it was truly inedible. My wife ordered the farmers salad with chicken ..dressing on the side. Showed up with no chicken and dripping with dressing...but she still liked it enough to finish it. This was on a Saturday night at a very busy time. It was pretty much a disaster.....lots of plates with unfinished food. But.... the beer was very good. My advice...don't even try to go on a wk end. Oh..the place is very cool looking....this contributed to the "D" rather than a "F".

Passable service. The wait staff was incredibly young and just not well trained or experienced. The food was awful. Got a side of fries and a slice of pizza. Fries were fried poorly and were clearly frozen. The portion was small. The slice appeared to be some regular French bread with sauce and cheese on it. Maybe it would be considered pizza in other states but not in Illinois.Beer was average. Not bad. Not great. Definitely not memorable.Overall experience was average. You wouldn't be pissed you went but there is no urge to go again.

Enjoyed this brewery. There were some children, but not too many, as some reviews suggest. I also disagree that it is overpriced. all restaurants are expensive now, but this restaurant is within an acceptable price range. The food was good. The wife had the MMB Burger, which she liked. The Cobb salad was also good, but heavy on the bacon, not necessarily a bad thing. The Oktoberfest beer was my favorite and she liked the On the Porch. We agreed that the LaGrange Lager needed more flavor. The service was good and I would go back.

Nice place with some great beers. Beertender was cool, knowledgeable, and answered my questions. Didn't try any food there, but I'd imagine the menu had several things I would have ordered had I wanted food.Even took something home until my next visit. Parking could be an issue, by I found something just a block away.

The chicken sandwich with the red pepper spread was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The side salad was also yummy, with some sort of light orange vinaigrette (that's what it tasted like at least). It is pricy. But I would go back and treat myself to the same dish when I am up there again. But I would only drink water though, because each bottle of soda is 4 dollars and I ended up spending 8 dollars just to drink soda.

$5 plus tax for flight pours, none of which were BA or high abv stouts?? Excessive i think.

Been coming here since it has opened and really enjoy the food and house made craft beer. Sadly the service just seems to get worse and worse each time I come in. This past visit, we waited quite awhile for the server to take our order while we watched a group of them standing around the host/hostess counter. Then I explained a very simple allergy (lemons) to my server and asked for a different salad dressing but was brought it anyway. When I asked for a replacement, the server stated "that's the way it comes" and walked away. Seems like a really simple ask since it was just in a little cup on the side but instead I got to eat a nice dry salad.

We went here for a pre-Thanksgiving meetup with friends visiting from NYC, and it did not disappoint! Great food, drinks and family-friendly atmosphere. The service was truly exceptional and very much noticed and appreciated!
