“It's hard to get a bahn mi to be well balanced and I think this place gets it right. I'm a sucker for ginger chicken and it was great, the pickled veg rocked and the bread (arguably the most important component) was outstanding. Liked the counter style ordering and the tea I got was pretty good, I don't know tea so I got no notes. Nice music too and service was quick.“

“We live in the NW suburbs. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The pho has a heady aroma and other dishes I've had there were excellent. To get as good, you have to go into Chicago, and even there, few are any better.“

“Moving from San Diego, I've been having a hard time finding a place that comes close to authentic Viet food. This is now my go to place. Food quality held up to my expectations. Service was amazing due to the staff being friendly. Seemed like everyone that came in were repeating customers that the servers knew very well. I feel like the only thing everyone on here is complaining about is the "CASH ONLY", there's a sign at the front door that tells you that and the ATM does not have a fee. I had the spring rolls, steamed potstickers, Thai milk tea and pho and it came out to be $34. Which is very cheap to me. The atmosphere and ambiance of the place is nice. Place is huge and very clean. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back whenever I am craving Viet food. Oh! As a huge fan of honeydew smoothie, they have that as well. And a variety of smoothies! Can't go wrong at this place!“

“Sunday night dinner was Le Colonial and it's typically always booked for dinner, but they have a bar lounge where it's first come first serve and we practically had the room to ourselves throughout dinner. On a gloomy, foggy day a bowl of Pho sounded so yummy, and I was right, it was yummy. The presentation of the spring rolls was very cute, but I do wish there was more than just one shrimp in each roll, but I get food costs are rising. The lychee dessert is such the perfect balance of tart and sweet.“
