On advice from a friend, I stopped in to try a sandwich from the Deli Lama and I was a bit surprised how good the sandwich was. Not much to look at from the outside but inside is just what I look for in a sandwich place. Very clean with friendly staff and most importantly great food. I tried it again today and had another great sandwich. At this point I'm planning on working my way thru the entire menu which will take a bit of time with so many sandwiches to choose from. Really glad I found this place.

Best sandwiches in Lake County! Still can’t get over the hand whipped YOGURT. Excellent “desert” for someone who doesnt like a lot of sugar. I always recommended this place to my families with children. Kids are PICKY but they LOVED the options for yogurt. Go early, he runs out. Thank you for the service, he was kind and patient when I came in with Several orders. Don’t forget the chips, love the spicy jalapeños.Dietary restrictions: I can’t consume or process pork so he recommended sandwiches without pork that we’re Excellent. Love that he didn’t invade my privacy by asking if it was for religious reasons. Thank you again.Parking: Lots of parking and wheelchair accessible!Kid-friendliness: Though it has liquor he simply told me the children couldn’t go pass a certain line which I loved cause who wants to explain liquor to children. The children stayed near me and all parents love that since kids tend to pick up unnecessary snacks when they wander stores. It’s a great way to make them stay in your sight.

What a nice little deli! Had the hot pastrami sandwich and it was delicious. Love that there are vegetarian options as well as a few Indian dishes. Got a sample of their mango and cardigan yogurt (many unique flavors) and it was creamy and also delicious. Will definitely go back and try something different.

I stopped in for some soup and met the owner Darren. What a pleasant individual. Had a cup of chicken salad and Wow. What a treat. Had great Blues music in the background playing. Also some incredible yogurts that are really tasty. Its also a liquor store and gaming venue.Let's help this store thrive on business. Places lake this are truly the hidden gem. If you do go tell him Woody sent you.
Nice hidden gem. Great service and food was fantastic. Tomato basil soup, Bronx Rueben, potato salad were very flavorful. The orange dark chocolate yogurt was amazing! So many wonderful yogurt flavors. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
