The food was delicious. It took awhile to get our drinks and food even though it wasn’t too crowded. The staff was very kind. I’ll definitely come back.

Been scoping this place out for a long time and I just never seem to be in the right neighborhood at the right time. That changed on Saturday and I was there around noon. The first thing I noticed is that there was only two other diners that were there during lunch. I asked one of the workers if they were open, because it looked closed. I guess it was just a slow day. When the other table left, another set of diners came in, but it was never more than one other table at least while we were there. Ordered the BBQ chicken plate with coleslaw and garlic mashed. Both sides were really good. The chicken had a decent flavor, but the skin was a bit soft and the meat was a bit dry. It was a decent sized portion. I liked several of the bbq sauces to moisten up the dry meat - especially the root beer one. I have one big and one little complaint. This the difference between a 4 star review and a 3 star review. The big complaint is the water. It is awful. It tastes like it came from the retaining pond next to the building. It was some of the worst tasting well water I have had. I wish the waiter or someone would have said something when they put the glasses down. When we told him how bad the water was and that we had to order a soft drink to go with our meal, he nodded and gave the impression he had heard that feedback several times before. It was such an awful taste. The minor complaint is that they give $5 off for social media reviews. I think that is more straightforward than places who give discounts for good reviews, but you have to show your review to the waitstaff so I doubt there are anything but good reviews from that. I understand it may be an effective marketing method, but it taints the reviews here a bit. I would probably go back but for dinner - the portions are too big for lunch and they didn't appear to have any lunch specials. Get a water filter or something to take the sting out of your water - even selling bottles of Costco water at cost would be a help. The restaurant was clean, our waiter was nice, and it is probably a more fun place with more people.

Great service the moment we stepped in.They were so kind and welcoming.The brisket was so tender and juicy. The sauce i used ( they have 5-6 house made sauces) the sweet and spicy sauce, which paired perfectly. Tiny tiny kick with the nice tangy sweetness.I also tried their ribs, which were just melting in the mouth.
