Google/Google maps are a joy to use sometimes because you never what you'll find out there.This was one of those moments where "OMG, really?! For once, Gurnee or Vernon Hills doesn't have one??"I often refer to Lake Zurich as the hub of SW Lake County being it's a busy area with some good eat options.Freddy's is one-of-a-kind at least for the time being in LC and at the time we tried it, my family & I were in Lake Bluff so I figured the time was right to head west and a bit south.Been wanting to try for a couple of months prior to the end of this past December but I finally made it and was pleased with this taste.In the vein of Steak N' Shake but IMHO a bit better, only had to try Freddy's once to dig the new taste. Great steak burgers, fries and shakes here!The drive from my house in Beach Park to Freddy's in LZ is 25+miles zig-zagging thru the county. Kind of a haul just for a steak burger so more than likely the next trip down here will be if I'm much closer from home.God rest your soul Freddy Simon, thank you for your service and for creating this wonderful franchise which I hope continues to grow and expand everywhere in the country and beyond.

Amazing burgers the fries are to die for and the custard is amazing and creamy! I live this place because of mainly their fries they are so good!Kid-friendliness: A very old fashioned look on the inside!

The burger had no taste and the meat was nonexistent and the fries are so small they get cold SUPER fast. This was only my 2nd time to this place but it was my 2nd bad time! I will not give them a 3rd

Great service - burgers, chicken sandwich, fries and cheese curds were really tasty. Soon lived the chocolate shake as well.
The manager Brian did a wonderful job for us with service recovery. We got our order corrected and then some. He appeared to be a great leader to the other employees and a great team player. Would totally recommend this location to others. A+ on Freddy’s service!
