Solid German restaurant. My wife had one of the specials, schnitzel done three ways, and I had the sauerbraten. You pick two sides with your order. She had the German potato pancake and red cabbage and I had the German potato salad and Tirolian dumpling. We also asked for the bread basket which had wonderful warm rolls. Everything was terrific. We took home some leftovers and an order of apple strudel. Too stuffed to have dessert but can't pass up strudel. Service was great and fast.

It is a spendee $$$ restaurant. Good German restaurant. I had sauerbraten and did not enjoy it and saurerkrout was harsh. Bill was $40 for one person and only had water to drink.

My wife had the house schnitzel and I had the schnitzel trio which was Jager schnitzel paprika schnitzel and Fritzl schnitzel. The food was tasty the sides were great which was sauerkraut red cabbage German fried potatoes and Speziale. I also had a potato pancake. Definitely coming back.

After reading excellent reviews, we chose Fritzels for a German birthday celebration. Out of 10, 4 ordered the Rouladen and all were disappointed with the bland meal. Two ordered the pork schnitzel and found it to be dry. One other had the stroganoff, lots of gravy, little meat. So disappointing. Atmosphere okay, would be nice to have some music. We’ll find someplace else next time.

The Friday fish fry is excellent and worth the reasonable cost. Very efficient staff and quickly served. Old school, reminds me of the Wisconsin supper clubs we go to. Nothing including the decor should change!
Fantastic vibes and super amiable service. The meals were crisp and yummy. Will clearly recommend this spot to others. Fair prices and big portions. Keep it up.

I read old school German and it was exactly that. So good and authentic. This place was fantastic. We started with goulash soup that was flavorful and perfect. My wife had rouladen and enjoyed every bite. I had a chicken cordon blue schnitzel that was ridiculously good. Sides were excellent as well. Do not pass on the red cabbage, it is the best I have ever tasted. One tip, call for reservations. We showed up without and they were not able to seat us at a table for 30 minutes. We ate at the bar though and still had a great experience. Can't wait to return soon!

Last night we decided to go to Fritzl's. The food was as good as ever. Large portions, piping hot, although the menu is a bit smaller. There were numerous waiters in the restaurant all still wearing masks. Then there was our waiter. No mask at all. I'm not sure I was ready for that. No one asked if it was okay. No heads up. Just be ready for it if you go. I am fully vaccinated and maybe he was too but how do I know that? We'll all be dealing with this more often, I just wasn't ready. From now on I will be asking before I sit down.
