Terrible Experience: I had a 6pm reservation here for a romantic Valentines Day dinner… tell me why we didn’t get our drinks an appetizers until 6:50? The chef finally began at our table at 7:20 and didn’t really interact much with my girlfriend and I. By the time she got her salmon and shrimp at 8pm, she really wasn’t that hungry anymore. The food was really bland and my girlfriend got sick later in the evening. When I alerted the manager, she was pretty dismissive and only took $11 off the bill. This place used to be great, but this was a horrendous experience, overpriced, and frankly embarrassing to take my significant other for V-Day.

This place pleasantly surprised me!!! You walk in and see how beautiful it is and cannot believe how it is in this location. The tuna rolls , octopus as well as salmon rolls were freshly made and the miso soup is the best around. The staff is so professional as well as kind that you enjoy this place even more . Best sushi I ever had in Illinois

Been here for years. Always a wonderful experience. Especially the food. If you want to leave with a smile and a full and happy stomach, Kobe is the place to go!Kobe also makes the best leftovers too. So much food, always have left overs to take home. Just microwave and its as good as new!

Dinner for 7 people was way overpriced. Service and chef were very friendly. We had chicken combo with shrimp, streak and Salmon . Steak was delicious golden shrimp was ok. Chicken was way overcooked as well as the Salmon. Steak and shrimp combo was $45 and you only get 3 pieces of shrimp. None of these items were seasoned, all of it lacked taste. Will not come back

Food is way overpriced. Nothing special about the taste. Service was ok. Sat my son and I in a tiny table with no lighting. It was so dark and I had to use my phone to see. They said the lights were broke and no other tables were available. That was a lie. I could literally see empty tables. The server said it was the only table available and still charged full price for hibachi with no show. The whole point of hibachi is having your food cooked in front of you. We will never return. Not worth the price. We should've left before ordering when they put us in the darkest spot in the restaurant. At the very least, I should have received some sort of discount for no show!

We’ve been coming here for a number of years and it’s by far one of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently good. Our favorite is the fillet and the garlic shrimp. Special thanks to al ofl the staff especially Jay!

I basically use to have my birthday dinners here growing up since I loved this place. However, recently the quality of the food & service have gone down. I feel that the food was much better before compared to now and could use some improvement.

Service was absolutely terrible. Took 45 minutes to get our checks and they messed up my check. Over charged me. I wanted to the teriyaki scallops appetizer ($15) and she wrote a bill for Sesame scallops hibachi ($30). I would've said something but JINNY was taking so long to the point that I just ate up the $15 extra cost since she was taking so long. The ambience was alright. Could be better. I'm just disappointed. It took way too long and they messed up the bill dramatically. Don't recommend this place.
