I ordered the chicken egg foo young and it was awful. I was literally was just a sautéed onions chicken omelette. Not one other vegetable. The gravy came separate and tasted like it was made from a packet. Very watery. Not only was the meal awful but their portion sizes are very small.

If you like to eat a pile of onion and celery then this place is for you. We ordered large Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef hoping to have food for 2 days for a couple (as we usually do with other Chinese food places). There was hardly any meat in it. The sauce was flavorful, but that's it.

Ordered several dishes and found the portions in the dishes to be quite small for the amount of money they charge. While the quality of the food was good, however My Mongolian beef had literally six pieces of beef the rest was onions this was outrageous for a $15 dish. We found a similar issue with the shrimp with lobster sauce the portions of shrimp are quite small. I understand that there is inflation and higher cost have are reflected on to the consumer but if you don't raise the the prices and simply reduced the portions that does not equate to a good experience for the patrons, especially if you want them to come back and buy from you again. I will not order from here again.

We tried their takeout by a recommendation. Our son loves potstickers so we got him that. Also ordered shrimp fried rice, vegetable fried rice, cashew chicken, Mongolian beef and beef with broccoli. My son loved the potstickers and wouldn't share. We all really enjoyed everything. I was a big fan of the cashew chicken. We have already returned for more potstickers and cashew chicken. Not really a sit down and eat place, mostly takeout. The employees were very kind and helpful.

I ordered on Christmas and the food was delicious! i had never ordered from here before and I will definitely again. The food was fresh and the sauce was just right for the seafood.

They work without central heat on, so the wait experience inside isn't ideal in 8 degrees. But that aside, the food takeout is very good. Seafood platter generous shrimp, scallop, crab meat, good sauce, and fresh vegetables.
Kong Ming used to be our goto when ordering Chinese food. After this last order, we're done with them for good. The dinner portions are now smaller than the super-cheap lunch specials at most Chinese spots. We ordered 4 entrees (2 chicken, 2 beef): All 4 were overloaded with onions, and cheap veggies; not one of the dishes had an adequate amount of meat. Also, both beef dishes smelled off, like the meat was spoiled. 2 orders of pot stickers: They were dried out, and chewy (in a bad way) 2 orders of fried rice: we threw them out, because most of the rice was dried out, and had a really bad smell.

This was the "honey shrimp," which should have been called "sugar shrimp." Basically a cheap donut with cooked shrimp stuffed inside. Absolutely disgusting.

So as we all know, most, if not all Asian Restaurants, are closed on Monday. My daughter was having her 17th Birthday Party and wanted Asian Food for her Soirée. Stopped by Kong Ming the Friday before and asked if they were open? Was informed, they were but after 4:00 pm. Great, called on Monday just after 4PM...no answer. Left a message, after 4:30PM received a call back from the restaurant, they heard my message and were running a bit behind in time. Placed the order for a total of 11 entries, told me it would be ready in 45 minutes. (So glad for the follow up, otherwise it would be one of our local Pizza Place's coming to the rescue). Got there before, Order was good to go. Food was a hit! Thank you Kong Ming for going the extra mile! Cheers, Nazdrowie, Mangia, Shey Shey!

Tried for the first time today and was very satisfied with the three items I got. Sweet and sour chicken was on point (small s&s chicken came with rice and sauce), crab rangoons were pretty tasty and crispy even after I got home, and my favorite of the three the shrimp egg roll which had real chunks of shrimp along the entire rolls.Definately will be back in the future, thanks for a great meal!

Had the General Tso's Chicken combination lunch with spring roll. The broccoli was fresh, the chicken tasted great, the rice was actually the best fried rice I’ve had so far in Illinois. Could be a bit more food but the price was probably reasonable for the amount of food. The only thing I don’t like was the spring roll. It was fresh, hot and crispy, but the contents was all soft. I would try food here again though
