Kong Ming used to be our goto when ordering Chinese food. After this last order, we're done with them for good. The dinner portions are now smaller than the super-cheap lunch specials at most Chinese spots. We ordered 4 entrees (2 chicken, 2 beef): All 4 were overloaded with onions, and cheap veggies; not one of the dishes had an adequate amount of meat. Also, both beef dishes smelled off, like the meat was spoiled. 2 orders of pot stickers: They were dried out, and chewy (in a bad way) 2 orders of fried rice: we threw them out, because most of the rice was dried out, and had a really bad smell.

So as we all know, most, if not all Asian Restaurants, are closed on Monday. My daughter was having her 17th Birthday Party and wanted Asian Food for her Soirée. Stopped by Kong Ming the Friday before and asked if they were open? Was informed, they were but after 4:00 pm. Great, called on Monday just after 4PM...no answer. Left a message, after 4:30PM received a call back from the restaurant, they heard my message and were running a bit behind in time. Placed the order for a total of 11 entries, told me it would be ready in 45 minutes. (So glad for the follow up, otherwise it would be one of our local Pizza Place's coming to the rescue). Got there before, Order was good to go. Food was a hit! Thank you Kong Ming for going the extra mile! Cheers, Nazdrowie, Mangia, Shey Shey!

Compared to other places in the area, I think Kong Ming Express just falls short. We ordered two separate lunch specials and normally (from other places) I can get another portion/meal out of my order. Either this one was on the smaller side, or I was super hungry that day. My beef dish was pretty bland honestly. It was supposed to be spicy and it just wasn't.. at all. Probably more salt than actual flavor. There are a ton of veggies in this meal, and really not a great beef to veggie ratio. The fried rice was also on the bland side. My eggroll just tasted like fried miscellaneous food, nothing special there either. I think for the price, it's a good, fast option. Otherwise there are several other places in the area that I would choose before this place.

Ordered large Mongolian beef and got mostly onions. Separated it to show how much actual beef was in there. Tasty but not worth it.

I'm not one to toss around one star reviews but this Chinese food was just not good at all. There was SO much anise in the food that it was off putting. We got the fried rice and the only flavor was anise. There wasn't a vegetable or egg but in sight. My husband, who always tosses out the white rice, said he would have taken that over the fried rice. The fried potstickers were gooey and we had to reheat and crunchy them up in the air fryer. The only thing that was good was the fortune cookie.

Another classic fast food Chinese -- a bit tasty but too greasy. I have been going there for a 5+ years and sadly COVID has taken their quality down. Grease is not the solution, add more flavor and use quality ingredients. Not sure what happened -- maybe a different cook. I still go since it is the closest "quick cheap" Chinese, but it is not as good as it once was (but 2nd place = best in the area if that means something to you).

Fresh and tasty meal. Vegetables were done to perfection. Loved the vegetarian options too.

Tried it the first time today. Just wanted a cjamge from my usual Chinese takeout.. Great food. Made exactly to the specifications. Typically when I ask for extra spicy food, I get lot of pepper and Chilli flakes, killing the rest of the flavor. The food tonight was spicy yet flavourful. I asked for extra bean sprouts in my fried rice, not knowing they don't serve it. I got a post it stuck to my rice box saying they don't serve bean sprouts. I appreciate that they took the time to let me know my special request was read and considered and "answered". Food came on time, hot and fresh. Thanks for grubhub for that too. Will order again for sure

I have ordered from here about 3 or 4 times now and it's always super good! Very tasty. The sweet and sour chicken is great and so are the potstickers.

Please if you or your children have a peanut allergy avoid this place .... I was going to Kong Ming for YEARS before the original owner left, she always made sure I did not have any contact with peanut oil with the food I ordered. However when I went back with these new owners I specifically said not to cook my food with peanut oil I have an allergy. But when I got home with my food and started eating I realized it was pretty much SOAKED in it and ended up vomiting everywhere... My peanut allergy has declined in severity these past few years but this could have been DEADLY ! It pains me to leave this review because it was always was a great experience coming but it kind of has to be posted for the safety of others.

Best General Tao I've ever had. I usually get medium spicy. They give a huge amount and it's perfect quality every time.

My daughter and I ordered from here the other day. I am not a huge fan of onions, but I can definitely tolerate them in small portions. I ordered the egg foo yong and fried rice, and it was a part-time job trying to pick out all of the onions. They were everywhere. Good note: They are squares and large enough that you can actually see them to pull them out. I was unable to finish my food due so very many onions. However! My daughter loved it all! (We shared) We ordered eggrolls, they looked more like spring rolls. Not sure if that's just how they make them Or if there was a true change up in the order. Decent amount of food. Split in our house, so they get a "3".

I had a favorite chines place that I have been going to for 20 years. They closed during Covid and I found this place through Yelp. The food and portions are great. I do not miss my old place at all.

I've been CRAVING Chinese food but moved to a new area and wasn't sure where to order from. Is this the best Chinese food I've ever had? No. Is it the worst? Also no. I may or may not order from here again.Sweet and sour chicken: Delicious. The sauce was very good as well.Beef and broccoli: Good, but not the best.Egg roll: Pretty good, not as much as cabbage as I usually like, though.Veggie spring roll: AWESOME. Great flavor.Crab rangoon: Excellent. Here are my main 2 complaints.First, the Shrimp Fried Rice. Besides the whole pieces of shrimp, there were a couple peas and green onions scattered throughout the rice. It was SUPER heavy in onions, so there was very little flavor except for onion :(Second, I ordered the Vegetable Chow Mein. I'm not sure if they just forgot to put the noodles in a separate container, or gave me something different, but I received vegetables only that were again, very heavy with onions. They were also not the vegetables that should have been in the Chow Mein.Would I order from here again? Maybe. After craving Chinese food for a couple weeks, it definitely hit the spot.

I visit this lovely spot many times a year! This is my favorite spot to have a bite. I visit this spot at least once a month. The meals are excellent, the crew is friendly and the prices are good. I enjoy eating in this place over a decent dinner.
