Definitely a neighborhood bar but with prices that match the more upscale competition. Parking can be a problem on busy nights so pay attention to the signs for each space to avoid being towed.

I'm not sure how I relate to this neighborhood bar. From the outside it has that dingy look, the signs that warn you that your car will be towed if you park in spaces that look like they should be for customers, while the main door looks like it's the entrance to a storage shed. First the good parts. The basic food is quite good. I had the Reuben sandwich and my friend had a basic hamburger. These come with french fries of the type that come from bag frozen. The service is friendly and accommodating. There are some downsides, however. The pricing of almost all sandwiches and burgers is right around $15 -16. Based on the menu pictures on Yelp and Google, this is about a 50% increase in the last three years. That's a substantial ask for such a casual operation. I suppose if you live in those lakeside condos across the street this is a logical choice. For those of us who have to actually drive here it's a big pass.

Sat outside with the bees who kept trying to drink my beer. I had the tator skins, not bad and done beer that was scrumptious. Was the half way point on my bike ride and was a perfect spot with a great outdoor view of the lake. Will definitely be back! Super friendly staff.
I go here frequently for lunch. Its typical bar food, but its very tasty and service is quick. I like the fact that they slot machines while you wait for your food. Always have a good meal here!
