“This is a somewhat hidden place in Highland. Unless you're a local you've probably never heard about it and how to get there. It's nearly disguised as a house since it's on a residential street which borders the business district. But either way, it's a great hidden gem. It's a great senior citizen's place, as they are open during certain hours. And in 2024, they will only accept cash - not that it's a bad thing. They do have a great menu, and some may say the food is not top quality. But the prices are very reasonable, whether you're coming here for breakfast and lunch. Service is great as well. Lots of Highland history on display too.“

“Great small town atmosphere, friendly staff, you could tell there are a lot of “regulars” here. We got the fried pickles to start, lots of breading but good. We order the Korean pork sandwich and buffalo chicken wrap. I thought the pork was a pulled pork sandwich, but it was more like a McRib patty - still delicious! The buffalo chicken wrap was amazing though! We will be back!“

“The only reason that I don't give the service 5 stars is the fact that it is serve yourself drinks and clear your own table. The staff is awesome but I personally think it would be an upgrade to be a "nicer" sit down barbecue restaurant. The food came out fast and was delicious!!!“

“Went with a couple of coworkers on a Thursday after work. Really cute place in downtown Ofallon. There was a group of ladies celebrating a 40th birthday that were soooo loud, a family seated behind us opted for a different table Food portions were smaller than I expected. But everything was really good, great for a date night. Expect to spend a little more than typical. Our server was great. We got lemon drop martinis but served with tequila instead. Yummmyyy“

We liked all of our food items: pancakes, biscuits, potatoes, and a hash/scrambled.Wheelchair accessibility: You can get in with a wheelchair, it will be a tight fit and more than half the tables are up a small set of stairs.“

“During a recent stay at a hotel behind this location, we ate there three times while in town for the total eclipse. The hotel's offering was lackluster so it didn't take much convincing to give First Watch a try. For our first visit, the place was packed. There was about a 20 minute wait. We were pleasantly surprised by the great service and awesome food. We liked it so much,we came back again and again. Our party of four ordered breakfast each visit and all three times, the food came out hot, fresh tasting and in ample portions. Thank you First Watch for providing stellar dining experiences.“

“We were two couples who had a late lunch at Syberg's. We are all ex-military so we did more catching up then eating. At 2 PM the restaurant was nearly empty, which surprised us. Our server, Tony, was great! He remained available even though we were focused on talking. My husband and I ordered the fish and chips. The fish is heavily breaded but the fish was cooked well. The fries are like slices rather then the typical long, thin pieces. They were nice and crispy. Our one friend ordered a salad --huge with lots (and lots) of lettuce. He was underwhelmed. His wife ordered a daily special. I didn't hear any review either way. Would we go again? Probably not. There was nothing inherently wrong with Syberg's other than their online menu was woefully out of date. There are just too many other exciting places to go in the Fairview Heights/O'Fallon area.“

“No brainer, if you are hungry, you are in for a treat. They sold out of the fried chicken dinner so I had the chicken strips, Amazing!!! My wife had a burger with egg and bacon and said it was super delicious. The owner is very nice and easy to talk to. Had a great time !“

“This location has amazing staff and food. The lines you would think from seeing them at the doors can be misleading. This locations moves them in gets them fed and on they go. Has amazing rolls with many options. I recommend their salmon. We enjoy the location here and plan to keep coming back“

“Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve had a burger this good! Ordered the special of the day “Bye Felicia” double patty with grilled onions and cheese but I don’t remember which type. Ordered the sweet potato tots and a soda. The meat was tasty and the restaurant’s mayo added a nice kick to my tots. I enjoyed every bite and couldn’t finish, so I took it home for later.Staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was clean, spacious and had plenty of tables/dining options.“

Good food for decent prices, got the greasy but delicious Eagle Burger (with egg, bacon, and cheese) and steak fries. My companions also ordered the Southern Burger, quesadilla, and a BBQ sandwich and raved-about onion rings. Good place for a group to sit together and not have too long a wait (fast service).“

“Though we were told there was a lengthy wait(50-60 minutes), we actually didn't wait long. The server was pleasant, and the food was good, as was my appetizers. Drinks were strong enough for the price paid. I left full and satisfied. Would have given a 5 had the server checked in more.“

“A locally home-grown joint that you won't find anywhere else. Love the penguin out front. We stopped in at lunch time and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Menu is very large so right away I knew that there must be a lot of frozen and pre-made foods but took a chance and was not disappointed. Wanting something light, we went for soup and chili, some fried pickles and soft drinks. They admitted the chili wasn't home-made but it was still very tasty as was the chicken noodle soup. Pickles were OK - maybe a little over-cooked. Lastly, the place is very neat and tidy! I'd definitely stop again next time I'm in the area.“

“Bartender/ waitress did not pay good attention to her customers was watching something in her phone. Friend needed beer and could get her attention for quite sometime. Needed refill on a soda she never even notice. Didn't give us anything to eat or wings with bone trays or nothing. One of the worst we have had when eating there. Food was good hate to hear the cook is leaving this is her last week.“
