What a blast from the past! My husband and I used to go to the one in Mt. Carroll since that's where we're from. I miss those big colored ball lights on top! We'll definitely be back!
We drove an hour from Dubuque to go here and I really enjoyed it! There will be no mistaking this food for a 5 star culinary experience... It's not. That isn't what this place is for. It's best at reminding us what drive ins were like when we were kids and for that it has NO EQUAL! The food is good the service is great the staff is fun. I do not know of another place like it. I WILL come back.... Several times... I know it.

This place is classic. Small town drive in, young kids earning money on summer break and low prices on great simpler time foods and soft-serve. If you haven't been here yet, you need to go. Tell your friends and neighbours. Don't let places like this one die to the big nothing burger places. And summer will be done before you know it and you will have to wait til next year.
