Went because it was close to the train show which was the reason we were in Lena. The food and service was terrific! Prices are in line with similar venues. We live in Roscoe. Both my husband and I were impressed enough that we would make the drive to Lena just to eat.Vegetarian options: I had the chicken teriaki wrap minus the chicken . It was packed full of vegetables and was delicious.!
We stopped in for lunch and ordered a cheese curds appetizer to be followed by an LBC chicken sandwich with potato salad. The cheese curds were more cheese sticks than curds, but they were hot.Unfortunately, the sandwich arrived within a few seconds of the appetizer. And instead of potato salad it was plated with an odd pasta salad.The beer was good, but nothing here was memorable or good enough to bring us back.Oh, not to be forgotten - the atmosphere and decor were the best part of our visit.

This place is never a disappointment. Our server was phenomenal and the food was amazing.My only complaint is the auto gratuity on the bill for parties of 8 or more which I didn't see....and tipped the waitress actually more than the 20%, but I think you're doing your customers and your staff a disservice by adding that on. Some deserve more...some don't. Now this is just my opinion, and I'm not mad...just something to think about.Or tell the customer up front.Other than that....can't wait to come back.

I absolutely love the food and service here! If you really enjoy burgers, I recommend getting the Maple Bourbon Bacon Burger. It has such juicy, sweet flavors that make you say "mmmmmmm" with every bite. There are also many more varieties for food you can choose from. The waitress we had one time was so nice and kind. As soon as I finished one of my drinks, she had another one back out in less than a minute. Another really cool feature about this restaurant is that they have a McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II. If I'm correct, it is a QF-4E Phantom. It was gray and orange like the other droned aircrafts for pilots to possibly shoot them down. They recently re-painted it. It looks very neat now, it is Gray and Black, it's so fun to look around and explore, and if you don't see the sign, just letting you know, it's a 65 year old aircraft still in service for Japan and maybe other countries. So if you ever drive through or near Lena IL, take some time if it's just you, or your family, go down, get yourself a nice meal, and once your done, go look at that F-4 Phantom, take photos show your friends and family, talk to them about the amazing food you had. They most likely will be interested and want to go there. This is an absolutely wonderful place to stop and have quality food with amazing service. And the F4 jet in the parking lot is fun to see.
food was not hot. Fish breading was soggy and fell off when cutting the fish. Drinks are good end service was great. Have eaten here several times and food has always been mediocre.

Stopped here coming from Chicago for a visit for a few days to Galena, Illinois. Just had a quick lunch which was good & very affordable. Wait Staff were great and we could tell they enjoy their jobs there, (smiles galore). They have an inside water fountain which was a very relaxing sound while eating. Also, the Gift Shop was great with a 50% off on all Christmas ? related items, (which were unique). ? Loved our lunch visit! Well Done Rafters and thanks!Parking: Well lite blacktop with plenty of room.Kid-friendliness: Definitely Kids Count here... family orientedWheelchair accessibility: No stairs from parking lot to out table. Noted doorways extra wide. Bathrooms clean & wheelchair friendly.
This food was awesome !! The server was awesome, and she was so sweet and helpful! The building was really nice and overall good timing and good people! Definitely highly recommend !!

My wife and I had dinner there for the first time, (celebrating our 10th anniversary), Clean, friendly, a great staff. Our server quickly took care of us, our food came out in a very timely manner and the food was delicious. We will return. Thank you.
