A small regular Indian restaurant in Libertyville in the northern suburbs of Chicago. They took a pretty long time to get my order ready. Took them 45 minutes to get my order ready. When I wanted to cancel then they were like it will be ready in 30 min. But it still took them almost 45 minutes in the end. Inside the restaurant the atmosphere is pretty basic with unimpressive tables and chairs. Only 1 person who mages the counter and gets orders from inside the kitchen.

I've had food at this place a few times in the last couple of years, but with the recent change in ownership, it's even better. With a familiar and friendly face from Shaan's Grill, amazing food, great value for money, and prompt service, it's hard not to recommend this one.

This place has really good servings/portions of their Indian dishes for a reasonable price (Military discount given for service members;).Food is flavorful and prepared hot for you, you can’t go wrong with any of the food on the menu. The owner will also great you with a smiley face and positive attitude.Support local folks!

I got the chicken masala and butter chicken. The masala was very delicious! Seasoned perfectly and tasted so good. The butter chicken was in a sweet sauce and i personally wasn’t as big of a fan but if you like sweeter sauces instead of spicy it is great! Ali is very nice and assisted very well at helping me pick out some of his favorites. Definitely will be coming back!Kid-friendliness: Ali was very nice to a young boy that came in and was excited for his food. He’s a very nice man!

I tried Indian cuisine for the first time here and was so impressed I had to come back again to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Butter Chicken & Tikka Masala both incredible. Butter and onion naan both incredible and the green chutney sauce is out of this world! Will be back often.

Food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Service was friendly and accommodating. Naan was hot, toasty, and freshly made with a delightfully chewy texture. Atmosphere as expected for takeout place with a few tables, was pleasant with soft music and very clean.
