One of our favorite places to go for dessert after a date sometimes we come out of the way just to hit the spot. Very popular among the locals

Been going for 30 years. Best soft serve hands down! Try the cake batter ice cream, you won't regret it.

Terrible service, decent ice cream. Would be 3 or 4 stars if their employees weren't rude and incompetent.

It's an ice cream stand. Return from the Marytown Shrine, I couldn't ignore the 'flavor of the say - blueberry " sign calling me. Many flavor served in cones, shakes, Sundays or concretes. I had a the blueberry as a malt. Proper flavor levels for the blueberry and the sweetness, not overly sweet. Great formulation, thick but it would move through the straw. Solid place. Service? The got the order correct, prepared it promptly and the change was correct. No problems. Would return

Classic looking ice cream stand located at a busy intersection in Libertyville that may be small, but has a lot to choose from. Dairy Dream Drive In has many flavors, 28 in fact, so that's impressive. It's pretty much a simple looking structure with a window to go up to and order. Has the ice cream as well as hot food such as burgers and cheese curds. They also have non dairy sorbets. A thing to know is this is one of those seasonal places for ice cream. It closes for winter like most. There's only some outdoor seating. Much too small for anything else. They still manage to have a ton of flavors though. It's about $3 for a medium cup. There's all the usual ones plus a few not as much. Get some that are non dairy. They had a few sorbets including orange and watermelon. Also people like the cheese curds. These look pretty greasy, but that must be why they like these. Good place to cool off and get a sweet treat with it. It's open beginning in spring. This is located close to the high school, so no surprise if there's lots of teens hanging around or whatever.

At least a million, err 28, soft-serve flavors! I tried espresso with sprinkle crunch coat & 10/10 recommend ~ YUM!

Old school ice cream spot, with plenty of options and decent parking (or walking, as it's adjacent to the Millennium Trail).Value isn't that great (hence the 4-stars), and if you want water to wash-down your treat, you'll have to buy a bottle (they've removed the outside drinking fountain).Still, it's clean, well-run, and a fun place to grab some ice cream
Great selection & delicious burgers!!!
