Really delicious food and great service! So happy there's a Filipino restaurant in Libertyville! Had pancit catered for NYE, and was authentic and delicious! Will definitely go back for more.

The owners are very accommodating and friendly. I bought food for Thanksgiving and we enjoyed all the food. I have yet to try the other food and I will definitely come back. I have a very high standard with food as we have a lot of great cooks in the family so I could vouch for Salamat Po that it has delicious food to offer. The place is clean, well designed and you'll never smell like food even when you stay a while in the store. Apparently, the construction was well thought by the owner. Come, visit and try their food and other products.

I really wanted to like this place and support local business but there is a HUGE concern I have which prevents me from returning to this restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, the food was very good, but they are not following proper food safety protocol at all. I can’t risk getting sick or getting my family sick. This is a to-go style restaurant that offers pre-made Filipino dishes either a la carte or as a combo with rice and eggs. The “hot” food buffet where you choose what you want to eat is nowhere near hot. Everything, and I do mean everything, was room temperature - the meats, the eggs, the rice, literally everything. The food buffet has a water bath with a heater to keep the food hot enough to prevent bacteria growth, however it was not in use when we visited. No water in the food buffet, nothing. Food poisoning is a very real concern and can get people extremely sick. It makes me wonder if they are aware of common food safety practices. After taking a few bites and realizing the food was not hot at all, we tossed it all in the trash. It wasn’t worth the risk of getting sick.To the owners: please fix this and be more conscious of food safety. I really want to be a frequent customer and support your business but this has to be addressed first.Without those food safety concerns, this restaurant would easily be a strong 4 stars.

Nice clean modern interior, the staff was friendly and respectful. The food was flavorful and reminiscent of various filipino cuisines from the different islands. You have to try it at least

I was excited to see another Filipino business open up within the Lake County area. I am a big believer in supporting my fellow countrymen small business owners. The location is not ideal because of the parking situation, small parking area shared with many other businesses next to it. I thought it was a dine in restaurant at first because I've read they have sittings provided and something about having a karaoke or band playing. To my surprise when I walked in, it was a small space and no dine in. It is a place where food is already cooked and you just choose which one you want to buy, a turo-turo style meaning point point. The decor is nice and modern but they didn't really have much to choose from. I saw shelf area filled with a few items and saw they have pan de sals so I grabbed two of them with one being the Ube pan de sal. Been so long I have had fresh pan de sal so I was excited to see they have them. The staff were nice and friendly. The elderly lady was so cute but she seemed confused at what things were and kept apologizing she was new. The cashier lady was very friendly and also kept apologizing for the wait as they have a register malfunction as their credit card machine wasn't working and kept saying hope I come back again. One disappointment I had was that I didn't realize the pan de sal they sold were not their own product, when I got home my family pointed out that it was from Valerios Bakery. I just grabbed two bags right away thinking I'm buying and supporting their own products. I do hope they will provide their very own made bake goods not outsourced ones as I'm not a big fan of Valerios bake goods here in Chicago. I prefer the ones in San Diego as they taste different. The Ube French Macarons were good but again they are mass produced outsourced from another company, would be better if they freshly made their own. I am also a bit confused to their branding of their business, is it Authentic Filipino food or are they a fusion? One last thing, it would be nice to have gotten a receipt for my purchases as I didn't know how much each one of the items cost me. I know the total amount I paid just didn't have a way to see how much each item cost. I will come back and try more of their items when I'm in the area the next time. I encourage everyone to support their fellow kababayans small businesses and be honest about their experiences so the business owners can correct and improve on them to provide better quality products and customer service experience for their customers. Proud Filipino here and let's be kind and be supportive to one another. Congrats to the owners for opening their business for the Filipino community.

Tasty authentic Filipino cuisine. It's reasonably priced. Food selections are cooked daily therefore, it provides freshness taste. The store is very clean and a convenient waiting area. Surely worth the experience. Have visited eight different times and just consistently been delighted each visit.

The serving is so stingy with the gentleman on the cashier. He could hardly fill up the container. Not worth for the price you paid. The food not as good compared to other filipino restaurant

Review of a Fabulous Filipino FeastIf you’re yearning for authentic Filipino cuisine, this is the spot to hit! The food is as fresh as it gets, making every bite a delightful journey through the Philippines. It’s not just about the taste, spot on, but also about how it doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket. It’s surprisingly cheaper than if you tried whipping up these dishes at home, especially considering the top-notch ingredients they use from the Philippines. The ambiance? Oh, it’s a slice of tranquility. Clean, calming, and the best part – you walk out smelling just as fresh as when you walked in. No pesky food odors clinging to your clothes or hair! And the desserts, oh boy! They’re the real deal. You won’t find these Filipino sweet treats just anywhere. They’re the perfect end to a fantastic meal, leaving you with that satisfied, happy tummy feeling. In a nutshell, this place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to dive into authentic Filipino cuisine without traveling thousands of miles. A must-visit!

Review: A Sweet Slice of Filipino HeavenGuys, I’ve found a little dessert paradise! This Filipino dessert is like being back in grandma’s kitchen. Everything tastes so authentic and home-cooked, it’s unreal. Plus, it’s way more affordable than grabbing something from a fast-food joint, and you can tell it’s all freshly made – you can literally see the kitchen from the counter. The vibe? It’s got that modern, clean feel we all love, with zero parking headaches. And the staff? It is super friendly, just like being back in the Philippines. Now, let’s talk about the desserts. The Sansrival is out of this world – a must-try. And the street food? Seriously unique and delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and chill vibes. ????

Our second time but first time to get something, the first nothing good was left. Today we got the pancit palabok, it taste really good versus how it looks, doesn't look enticing but taste okay. The service could be improved, the lady doesn't really know what is being offered and the gent was not as friendly as I expected for a Filipino restaurant. Inside looks like a cafe/lounge so was a bit confused. A menu board w price will be appreciated. Also write out what is available food for the day since the display has cover and I cannot tell what they have. Will give them another chance since they are still on their soft launch.

Been there a couple of times and food are great! They changes the menu mostly everyday which give you more choices which I like. I think some misunderstood the tipping option there. They don't ask you for a tip - its written there-it's optional. I believe wherever you go to a food establishment even Starbucks, you see a tipping container which is optional. Overall, love the place and very clean! Let's continue to support our Filipino small businesses.

When we saw that this place was opening, we were so excited to try! And it did not dissapoint in the slightest! The food is absolutely delicious and very fairly priced. The staff also is very friendly and super helpful. If they are out of items, they're quick to let you know and to reccomend you other items to try. I definitely reccomend the fishballs, they were my and my family's favorite! They were so good in fact, we bought 5 orders of each type!
