Tala Coffee Roasters was an excellent choice to find quality espresso, a fun but professional atmosphere, and knowledgeable staff who care about producing great results. The espresso was well balanced with amazing texture and the milk-based vanilla latte was just as good. It was a welcomed treat finding delicious old fashioned donuts and other pastries at the counter. If you are looking for whole bean coffee, these folks have what you’re looking for. Their labels provide you plenty of information about the coffee that is in the bag and most importantly; the bag has a roasted on date! This is something that a lot of roasters forget, but if you like to geek out over coffee, it is important to know just how fresh your beans are in order to get the best results from your coffee.

This is my first time trying out this coffee house. They roast the beans on site. It is a bit hard to find as it is in a warehouse/industrial area, but well worth looking for it. The outside is just a bland warehouse, but the inside is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. I tried the Irish. Goodbye, which is one of their winter specialty drinks. It was very smooth and delicious with hints of cocoa and almond. I would definitely get it again. The staff was very nice and friendly when I came in.

One of my go-to cafes! They have a specials menu with new drinks every few months and the drinks are well made with care and a pretty latte design :) Staff is always friendly and the donuts are a must try as well!

Absolutely love this place to get good coffee and study. The coffee is the best i've had at any of the coffee shops nearby. I get "The Mermaid" and it's really delicious, not too strong and not too sweet. There is a decent number of places to sit, but I wish there were more tables (only 6 of them). There are outlets as well. There are no windows in there unfortunately, but the space is bright and filled with plants so it doesn't feel too dungeon-ey in there. the parking lot is a little weird, but there is enough space. this place gets very packed on the weekends though and there's been a few times i've had to stand around and hope for somebody to leave to take their chair. in my opinion, this is the best coffee shop in the area. they also offer a military discount!

A must visit coffee shop. The vibes of the Libertyville location are fantastic - the plants and open windows into the roastery and tasting room. It's a great space to work remotely from or meet a friend to catch up. In addition to their coffee menu, which boasts unique creations (you've got to try the Libertyville signature drink - the Unit B), they also serve Holcomb Hollow goodies which are gluten free and Vegan - YUM!

I heard of this place from Yelp and decided to give it a chance, it was definitely worth it! As most people have said, the location is tucked away behind a neighborhood of the road. I just plugged the address into my GPS and didn't have any problem getting there (just trust you have a reliable GPS lol). What I wasn't expecting was the building to be located by a large pond which looks pretty. It's currently frozen from winter, but I bet in the spring/summer it makes a pretty scenery to look at when entering and leaving the place! The parking lot is a bit small but I've never run into a crowding problem so far which is good! Inside, the place has a clean and modern look to it, very suitable for a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. There are outlets by the wall for people to work on their computer and they also have free WiFi which is a win as well. There is a decent amount of seating, though I would say that it's better to get there before noon/lunch time if you want to snag a working station spot. Bathrooms are also single stall but also very clean and simple, if that's something you care about. The staff are very friendly and approachable. The first time I went, I mentioned that I was new here, and they went on to explain how they make their coffee. I could tell they really enjoyed what they did as they sounded very passionate about the care put into the quality of their coffee. The first time, I got a 16 oz latte with lavender syrup and oat milk which was absolutely fantastic! For being a flowery flavor, it had a rich and sweet taste to it. The latte also had latte art on the top (even if you got the drink to go) which I really appreciated. The second time I went I got a 16 oz latte with caramel syrup and skim milk - also good! It was a very big size and really felt like I got a lot for the price point. Overall, I highly recommend making a trip here when you have the chance! The coffee and atmosphere did not disappoint, and it's a shame that more people don't talk about this place!

Nice isolated/secluded coffee ☕️ spot my brother found for an elevated cup. NYC interior warehouse conversion vibe, serving great espressos and creamy lattes.Watch your step entering and exiting the building. They might want to consider painting that first concrete step outside their glass door! Lol.
