The place was deserted for a weekend morning. The pancakes were good. The food was pricey. I had a hair on my skillet and it was immediately remade. The server was kind and friendly. Probably won't go back.

This restaurant seems to run out of menu items frequently. My salad was missing ingredients that was listed as part of the salad. They were out of dressing for their most popular salad. I do not recommend the avocado toast. Turkey club was good but a little on the dry

Excellent place to eat if you're looking for good breakfast and lunch food at a reasonable price, and don't want to have to wait too long for a table. The menu has something for everyone.

I’ve lived in the area my whole life and never gone to this restaurant. Finally got the chance to go in today and everything was JUST okay. We asked our waitress for recommendations she didn’t really have any. Which is fine. So we looked at the menu and ordered the biscuits & grave and the croque madame. Sadly when the food came out everything was warm ish. No real flavor/seasoning. I only had a few bites of my food before we just asked for our check. You could tell that some of the food had barely been touched, so when we were asked if we wanted boxes…we declined eagerly. When we went to pay we were asked how our food was…we had both answered it was JUST okay. The host replied with Great! Which just reiterated the okay ish experience. The restaurant wasn’t all that impressive. Like I said the experience was Just okay. Definitely for us it was a one and done experience. Hope the other peoples experience is better.

Great food! We have driven past here for years, and decided to give it a try! Menu is huge, portions very generous, and the waiter was fun and attentive at the right time! They only draw back, which took away the 5 stars, was the exhaust fans were not working well, and the smoke stung your eyes after being in the restaurant a while. It clung to your hair and clothes even after leaving! Smelling like sausage, bacon, eggs, and pancakes is not bad, but not ideal either!Open face omelets were delicious, apple stuffed pancakes were great, and the soup and sandwich were good, and breakfast tacos were excellent!

Absolutely won't come back. Food was mid at best for the price. The wait was *phenomenally* long for a place that was not close to capacity. The place also smelled like burnt cooking oil.

Did not love it. I'm going to err on the side of giving them the benefit of the doubt and give it 4 stars instead of 3 this time. Staff are not nice and the food is not great. The only thing they have on Walker's is that they don't have a line. For a smaller restaurant, that right there tells you something.

Overall, it's a nice local little breakfast spot. I think they may be slightly understaffed and things get forgotten. That being said, food was decent. It's close by and I wouldn't mind going again.

Hi all! Today we, my wife and I, had lunch at this Cafe with a lot of history! The order was accepted by the business owner, which is very responsible and good! We ate salad, meat and drank coffee! Everything was delicious! I would recommend updating the sofas. A great place to experience the spirit and history of the United States.

My wife and I just visited this cute little breakfast spot for the first time the day after our wedding. I can truly say I wish we had stopped in sooner. The food was FANTASTIC for what it was. (*bonus* it's my understanding that many items are made in house from scratch). The menu was priced fairly with generous portions. Their organic house coffee blend was impressively tasty. An attentive, friendly staff completes the package. We will certainly be making this a regular spot for us.

Excellent service, great food, and great atmosphere! What more can you ask for. Server was very helpful with any questions we had, and checked on us without being overbearing. Manager was very friendly and made sure we were enjoying everything. Great little mom and pop diner/cafe, reminds me of back home in my small town, love it!! ...ps try the strawberry fields pancakes you won't regret it!

went for brunch on 9/17/23 waited for 20 minutes with several seats available. finally sat and waited another 15 minutes before water was brought to the table. I ordered the Chicken and waffles and my guest ordered taffy apple French toast and cheesy potatoes. we also got 2 cups of coffee. I had to go to another open table to grab sugar, as I was not going to wait for the staff to bring it to me. after about 10 minutes our food came and i was actually surprised at how fast it came out, but then came to realize why.my chicken and waffles plate was shocking i received 3 john soules chicken tenders for kids these were barely 2 inches by 1 inch processed chicken w/ rib meat and the most flavorless waffles you could imagine. they had bits of bacon in them but were over powered by the taste of flour and baking soda.......no thanks.my guests french toast was barely soaked in french toast batter as they came out drier than the Sahara and still very much BREAD at that point. however its saving grace is the apple cinnamon compote was actually quite delicious. let me move on to the cheesy potato's. one would think they were diced and fried. then covered with cheese. nope these were undercooked hash browns covered in store brand cheddar cheese and covered with a pot lid to sit and melt.the coffee was burnt and no refills were offered until i let our waiter know how bad the food was. at this point i was utterly disgusted with the whole visit that i didn't want anything. i was directed to tell the "owner" how bad the food was because it was his choice for the menu. upon speaking with him he said he was only the manager. i explained everything in a very calm and even tone and was very respectful. instead of him saying oh i'm sorry you didn't like the food is there something we could do better for your next visit like most people do. he said in an angered and bitter tone, we serve people this food all the time and no one else complains. maybe this just isn't the restaurant for you. please leave. rude as could be. i will never be coming back to this place and i will be telling everyone i know on social media to not come there either.
