This is a great fun bar. The beer was reasonably priced and we had a great bartender. The place is pretty rundown but I appreciate that in a bar especially when the people are friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend it. Make sure to count the gnomes I think I got to 12 but I am sure I am missing some.
Where the heck are we right nowIn another time and place. We walked to Nels from another restaurant in the area. As we approached Nels I felt like we were out in the country somewhere with nothing around. Nels looks like a very old small house from the outside, and I'm pretty sure that's what it actually was. This is a fun bar. I was there the other night, first time, and it was welcoming. Drinks are priced right, karaoke fans are fun, and it's just a fun atmosphere.I'll be back sometime, for sure.
