Katherine and I have been going Next Whiskey Bar (NWB) since it’s inception in Lisle, Illinois. NWB is a gem in the midst of the Lisle and Naperville area and rivals any establishment—especially in Naperville—for the most expansive, rare, and sought after bourbon, rye, and whiskey offerings.The staff has always been friendly, and the bartenders/mixologists have always been happy to create a personalized craft cocktail for us with our spirits of choice along with any further choice ingredients from our corroborative conversation on what we would like to achieve.The food at the NEXT whiskey bar has always been good and it’s honestly only gotten better.At our most recent visit, I got the Shrimp Citrus & Avocado (Greens salad) and it was absolutely delicious!

The food is definitely a bit over priced but the atmosphere is very cool! I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup and my husband got a burger and Mac and cheese. Both solid choices!!

My family went here for dinner tonight. Our server was excellent. Our nwb old fashioneds were simple and fantastic. I had the special burger- mortadella, mozzarella mushrooms and an aoli on a pretzel bun with truffle fries. I'm glad I went for the special burger because it was delicious. My father in law said he really loves a good grilled cheese and this was one of the best. My boys devoured their burger and chicken and waffles and may not have taken a breath. We have been here in the past and while it was always ok, I think they really tightened up their QC. It was a great meal! No complaints.

First time here with family! Ordered a burger, medium rare cook, the Asian style salad, hot chicken sandwich with Nashville sauce and lastly the two handled IPA (I believe that’s the title). Burger was spot on, I am a fierce burger eater! The salad was so so tasty especially the peanut butter style sauce, lastly but not least the chicken sandwich was delicious, it’s not your average chicken sandwich, the chicken was fresh with a perfect crisp to it plus the chicken piece was large. The Nashville sauce was overly sweet and was expecting more of a POW of heat and spice. The beer was cold! And served in a stout glass. The atmosphere was a modern whiskey bar with a lot of wooden wall features and gothic style lights hanging from above giving a warm lighting effect to the eye. The musics wasn’t so loud either which was perfect for keeping the room full of talk and laughter. I will say! Price wise…a bit pricey for just two sandwiches and a salad. The Bavarian Lodge down Ogden does serve a burger just as delicious for $12 and salads at $13-14 a piece so as much as I do want to come back the prices are steering me away.
So Good! Burger was Amazing. Kale Salad was the best I've ever had. Drinks great. I can't wait to go back to try more.

This place is amazing!! If anyone is looking to get some quality food and even better quality spirts, you need to stop by this place. Even if you’re not interested in their amazing booze menu, you can enjoy great quality food at a very reasonable price!Kid-friendliness: My waitress was very kind and considerate! She was quick and made sure my wife and I were taken care of.
Hostess had zero personality, food tasted like mediocre bar food at best and we were basically ignored for a majority of the evening. The only saving grace was my husband's cocktail.

Pretty nice restaurant/bar. Apparently it's a chain with multiple locations, I was at the Lisle one, just off Ogden and I-355. Despite having bar in the title, it's actually got a full food menu, and is ideal for dinner. I got the taylor street panini, which was really good. Not too expensive and got a decent amount. My table also split lots of apps that I tried-cheese curds, meat and cheese board, and these fried dough balls, all good as well. As for the whiskey part, they have lots of signature cocktails, not just whiskey based, they all seemed pretty cool and creative. I prefer beer, and thankfully they had some good craft beers on tap, two of which i hadn't had before, which I ended up getting. There's several TVs around the bar area with whatever sports game is on. No parking lot, but there's several spots along the street in front. Service was good, our server was able to split the check among multiple parties. It's kinda far from where I live, but if I'm ever out this way again I wouldn't be opposed to going back.
