Been looking for a place and we found it. Chips, salsa and food very good. Definitely going back.

We have dined at this establishment since the change in ownership and all we can say is WOW. We have visited on the weekends and for Taco Tuesday for delicious food. The portions of food and cocktails are generous. However, we enjoy the wonderful service the most! Even when the place is busy, employees greet you with a smile and accommodate you as quickly as possible.

Table of 6 with nobody there at 2 in the afternoon. Staff worked on prepping for later in the day more than attending to their only customers. The food was good, but the cost and service took away from the experience. I'm not sure how it would have been if they had 3 tables of customers.

My husband and I met some friends for lunch in February. I suggested Torro based on some of the reviews I read - I should have continued reading more reviews before I suggested trying this place. We were the only table, but the service was slow.We all ordered off the lunch menu and for the price the portions were on the small side; my husband and I usually bring half of our lunch home from other restaurants because we're full, but this time we ate everything and I was still hungry. The food was mediocre at best. I had enchiladas and they had no flavor, the beans and rice were cold. One of our diners had to get up and get the server's attention to get the tortillas that came with a couple of fajita plates. Actually, only one person liked their food, but also said the beans and rice were cold. The only positive note was the drinks were decent. The server, apparently, was also the bartender because she was more focused on mixing up gallon jugs of sangria, margaritas, etc. instead of checking to see if we needed anything. We've had far better carry out Mexican food from El Burrito Habanero on State Street and La Michoacana Del Valle on 159th Street. I'm pretty sure this will be the only time we dine at Torro.

Never disappoints! Have not had a mediocre dish yet! From tacos, pozole to mole! Margaritas are the best in the area.

Worst food I ever had. Dirty floors and tables. If I could give zero stars I would!!!Drinks mediocre, warm glasses, sent back martini was warm, very slow service, no bartender. Food was undercooked and had to send it back. Not authentic Mexican food. Menu very non specific to ingredients.Got sick that night after eating here. Bathrooms dirty.I have no idea how they stay in business. Other reviews must be fake.

The food was made with fresh ingredients which made a big difference to the taste good vegetarian options which I was happy with. The place was packed when I left the restaurant as I had gone in for early dinner. The various salsas with varying spice levels and the fresh fried chips is a sure crowd pleaser. Recommend it, will go again.Dietary restrictions: Lot of vegetarian options or can be modified to suit one’s dietary needs.

Food was terrible, served cold. We dined in the restaurant, the steak burritos had 2 or 3 pieces of chopped steak. The taco steak salad was made up mainly of lettuce & tomatoes. They’re absolutely understaffed…..not coming back that’s for sure!!

Best Mexican food we've had in a loooong time. Drinks were delicious, and food was even better. Whatever seasonings they are using is godly. Fast service, friendly staff-perfect for a nice date night.

Because of the weather we chose to place a pickup order, placed the order online, very easy system! I then called to add to my order and was done with no problem. We do live close by so when we picked up the food and took it home everything was warm and super delicious! The steak tacos were the best I’ve had and my favorite burria were just amazing! Chips and salsa never disappoint, tasty and delicious! Thank you!

Dinner for two was well over $100. Service was very slow, we waited for our food for about an hour and a half. They were also out of stock on a lot of drink items.

Extremely small portions of food for high price. Both selections - Steak taco dinner and Taco beef salad had absolutely NO flavor what-so-ever. Very disappointing recommendation. Will not return.
