Unfortunately the service at UJ's is horrendous. Absolutely unprofessional and incompetent. They have always been ht or miss regarding service. They hate carry out. If you aren't buying drinks forget about getting good service. If you dare to do curbside expect some of the worst service in the industry. It's not just this location. It's all UJ's locations. Maybe they are trying to make you dine in I don't know. This isn't the first time you see. This has been happening for 20 years. People tolerate it because the fajitas are really good. I have been stories over the years regarding this company. Today's experience was just another one. I used to come 3 to 4 times per month. Now I frequent their restaurant twice per year maximum. I recommend choosing another place for a family gathering. Or if you are eating alone I would say skip this place as well. It's just not worth it.

We stopped for a late lunch after a movie yesterday. We were seated quickly as usual. Our waiter seemed very rushed so when he brought our drinks we went ahead and ordered our food. Our food arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, we had no utensils. We asked the young man who brought our food (not our waiter). He never came back. Another waitress was in the area and she brought them. Our waiter never came to ask how our food was or refill water or drinks. We finally flagged him down for our bill. It wasn’t a very memorable experience.

We had lunch for three and ordered chicken enchiladas and beef barbacoa and everything was good. The best part is our waiter Ramon. He was so good, attentive to our needs and helped one of our friends to break the pinata, which was the highlights of our lunch. Thank you Ramon for being so kind and enthusiastic.

I eat lots of Mexican food & this was not worth it. Over priced, no draft beer & fajita quesadilla do not have fajita in them, hum…. Chips great, salsa & white queso was just so so

Food inconsistent. My shrimp with bacon was over cooked and sizzling. The Guadalajara was ok but was not sizzling. Overcooked shrimp again with his meal. Not worth the money. We have been coming here awhile and not the same.

Walked in at 7:50pm. The restaurant was full, but there was no one waiting to be sat. Was told they were no longer seating anyone as they were on a 45min wait and they close at 9pm... When I say there was no one waiting, I mean it. We were the only ones around. Simply poor customer service!

Uncle Julios has great food. The ribs are excellent. Overall, a great experience. It’s best to have a reservation.

We love this restaurant, frequent it often. This visit was extremely loud, service was mediocre, food took forever to arrive. Ordering what we frequently order and it just wasn't the same.

Even though we had a reservation, we were stuck at a table right next to the kitchen. It was very crowded and it took a while for our server to keep returning to our table. The food was ok, but not good enough to go back and deal with the crowds and the noise.

The experience was unfavorable from the beginning. I made reservations at 7:45 and arrived at 7:25. I was told that they were running behind but when asked how long, hostess did not know. I asked again at 7:45 and received same answer. There was very little space to wait, which happens time to time when a restaurant is busy. The disturbing thing was that the location where servers were retrieving silverware was in same area and it was not appealing. Once we sat down the waitress came and she was kind and helpful. However the restaurant was cold so we could not remove our jackets. We ordered table made guacamole. The attendant was shy but did a very good job. However the chips that were brought to the table were cold and the silverware was not very clean. The Guac was good and my vegetable fajita was good. The rice was cold and over cooked and the corn tortillas were falling apart. The black beans were good. Overall the food was decent but combined with look and feel of the restaurant the experience was not favorable. I think this may have been my last visit.

I brought my family here to celebrate my husbands birthday . Although we hears good reviews about this place it was not for us and this will be our first and only visit to uncle Julios. The place was extremely loud my son wanted to leave and he's a ten year old because of the loudness. I did not see anything special abolitionist this place or the food 175$ for a family of four we could of went to local taco stand for 30$ and been happier.

I posted a picture of me hiting the Chocolate Pinata and all my FaceBook friends wanted to know where this was. I think have the food cooked immediately before it is served is the highlight of dining there. Excellent tortillas still puffy from the grill. Our wait person was Judd and he took care of all our needs.
