Been here an hour and only one cup of coffee? Still waiting. Disappointing. The food came out wrong. My son ordered oatmeal and got eggs and sausage. I asked for coffee and again didn’t get any. So when she came to a nearby table, after my meal was finished, I asked again and finally got a second cup. The food was good, but still do not recommend due to service issues.

Walter is amazing ! He’s a great bartender. Very personable! The food isn’t that great. Buffalo shrimp over a horrible salad as disgusting. Food is pricey!!

Food came out at different times. Ordered blueberry pancakes, received plain pancakes. Ordered extra crispy hash browns and they were barely cooked, toast was hard as a rock. Never asked if we wanted a refill on coffee. Need some staff training. Disappointed overall.

Went to Aurora IL for the weekend and decided to try the Holy Mackerel restaurant a few weeks ago. The breakfast included eggs, sausage links, potatoes, and toast. The food was not seasoned so it was bland. The meal was okay nothing overwhelming but the customer service was great. I was looking for a lot more especially since it was in the Westin Hotel. Overall, just average. Save yourself the trouble and go to some of the other restaurants that are not far away.

Had the New England Clam chowder and Beef Tenderloin Meat Loaf. Both were good but the meat loaf was delicious. I sat at the bar and service was incredible.

The service was great! I got a veggie omelette that was bland and just tasted like butter. My friend got a Denver omelette which was also bland. The atmosphere was as you would expect for a hotel breakfast.

This location recently opened up for breakfast. Holy Mackerel and Harry Caray's restaurants share adjoining space at the front of the Westin Hotel. Harry Caray's is definitely a five star restaurant (in my opinion). However, Holy Mackerel has a bit of work to do with their breakfast menu to attain the same quality.Note: I have only tried the breakfast menu at Holy Mackerel. Maybe the lunch and dinner menu are a little better.

Completely changed menu since reopening is very confused with no emphasis on seafood anymore. Odd mix of “comfort food” caters more to the random needs of conventioneers staying in the hotel. Make sure they give you the specials menu with excellent fresh alternatives to the new primary menu, or order off the Harry's menu from next door and just enjoy their food in the wonderful Holy Mackerel space.
Nice service and a good value for this area. Standard 2 egg, bacon, hash browns and toast $12. Prompt service for seating and with food

The culinary stylings are both intriguing and clever, with a passion in every dish. The cooks are artists.

This restaurant is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a special dinner, this place comes instantly to my head. Great and many types of food and a large menu.professional staff members, and pleasant vibes. In addition to that, the tariff is modest. I tell about this place with pleasure.
